Dr. Souweidane and his entire team have been wonderful. Our one-year-old son received a craniotomy fenestration for a sizable arachnoid cyst and has healed beautifully(currently, 2 months post-op). After consulting with a few neurosurgeons, Dr. Souweidane was the apparent choice and fit for our son’s surgery. His experience and knowledge along with his confidence and compassion were just a few things that made us feel our son was in good hands. In addition, the hospital child life specialist, picu staff, and neurosurgery team were also attentive and exceptional. All those involved in our son’s care took a very stressful and confusing time and turned it into an experience where we felt heard, cared for, and thankful for people who truly wanted to help our son get well quickly. We are forever grateful.

Dr. Souweidane is great. Easy to get an appointment, really takes time and focuses during your visit. Obviously loves what he does and is dedicated to providing the best neurosurgical care in NYC. Of course, his team is terrific, too. I am so grateful to be under their care.

I travelled cross country for my colloid cyst resection. We discussed my case over the phone and then Dr S’s team made all the arrangements. I found Dr S very personable, knowledgeable, confident and detailed. I am now 1 day post-op of an uneventful surgical endoscopy to remove the cyst. I am pretty much asymptomatic. I would highly recommend Dr S to any patient needing neurosurgical or endoscopic neurosurgical care.

We reached out for a second opinion. When we first met, he immediately recognized my daughters name from the tri-state tumor boards. I know we weren’t “just patients “ because the follow day he reviewed her MRI images AGAIN. The next day his nurse called me and recommended other testings. I am very grateful for that visit, Dr. Soudeiwane truly doesn’t leave a stone unturned. I am touched by his intuition , concern and visual prowess in my daughters case.

My daughter received the best care at the best hospital with the ULTIMATE doctor , DR Souweidane . His demeanor is so calming and reassuring . He was the only doctor that we trusted to operate on our daughter . His team held our hands every step of the way from start to finish of our daughters surgery .
