Dr Chu is amazing and is primary care giver for all three of our children as they have grown up. She is through, empathetic, has provided top-notch advice and care. The practice is nice and clean, but can get very busy at times (with lots of sick kids). The biggest complaint we have is that scheduling is difficult - we usually need to plan months in advance for checkups, and for urgent visits it’s rare we are able to be seen same-day by Dr Chu (or even at 72nd St location at all). The fact we cannot count on taking child being seen when they are sick is making us consider finding an alternative care provider in the area. We would hate to Dr Chu, but if we cannot see her it doesn’t matter.

We have tried a few different pediatricians and Dr. Chu is absolutely one of a kind. We are moving so it will be far less convenient to see her but we are still going to because she is that good.

Dr. Chu is the best - she is the primary doctor for my two kids since they were born (even we spent time living in foreign countries or other states temporarily we still managed to come back for kids' checkups). Dr. Chu is an excellent pediatrician with lots of experience and cares deeply about the kids' well beings. She always takes time listening to our questions/concerns and gives suggestions/solutions that can solve the problems (and explained to us why the solutions she proposed would be the best for the case). We feel lucky and safe to have Dr. Chu for our kids.

Dr. May Chu is amazing. In the six years she's been caring for our daughter, she has been quick to flag potential issues and refer us to wonderful specialists. She is also warm, funny and has really paid attention to our child's unique personality from the time she was an infant. Our child loves her, and because of that she loves going to the doctor. I couldn't ask for better.
