Condescending I went to see her because I appreciated her work with the LGBTQ community but was very disappointed. She was in a rush, had no interest in discussing the tests I wanted to have done on my own blood with my own insurance - which amounted to a handful of additional tests that I had researched. I come form a medical family and make sure to educate myself. When I asked her why she didn't want to look more deeply into things she said 'that's not the way I practice' and that she didn't want me to get anxious - trust me I'd rather know then possibly have an issue later - it's infantilizing. And being superficial in your testing should not be a point of pride. She is one doctor - and unfortunately not open minded and lacks some sensitivity in my experience.

Not a good doctor. Not a good doctor. Kept me on a med that wasn’t working while pushing to add another risky drug. My new provider didn’t understand why I hadn’t been prescribed the better drug and put me on it with immediate and desired results. She needed prompting to do the necessary exams and when a crisis occurred that needed her response she took days to respond and then proved to have very little knowledge.

Very understanding and compassionate My experience with Dr. Liu has been wonderful. I feel she truly listens to all my concerns and finds answers. As a 35-year-old woman, I find it very easy to speak with her about any issues I'm experiencing. She is very professional, yet relaxing.

Arrogant I feel uncomfortable with her! Very Proper and Controlled! No need for her to be soo stoic! I’m older and don’t like to be asked sophomoric questions to a woman that is smart and twice her age!
