I love this hospital , have been always treated with dignity and respect in times of crisis . Even though I did not get the pain relief sought at this ER visit , I got referred to someone who would be better able to assist and suggestions to alleviate my discomfort which so far are reducing my pain . They always have been top notch with a human touch , things that are lacking at montefiore Bronx Leb and even NYP. I was even dehumanized at NYP but Beth Israel brought back hope in a situation of never ending pain and I see light at the end of the tunnel . Thank You Dr . Mangla and Dr Fleischer Black at beth Israel ED
Thanks a lot !!!!!!! Excellent Drs , nurses and house kippers !!! I just wanna thank everybody at the Silver building 10 floor. .... Thanks for all the unconditional care and support with all ur patients !!! U guys r Awesome !! God bless u all and each one of u and ur families !!!!
Yesterday I burnt my throat eating an overheated piece of turkey and consequently spent 4 hours at the BI/Mt. Sinai ER. From the admitting nurse to the medical intern to the resident to the ENT to the assisting RN's to the attending physician, the entire medical team at the ER performed like clockwork providing me within minutes with a highly coordinated and professional diagnostic and treatment regimen. And, by treatment regimen, I mean that combining viscous lidocaine with 800 mg of Advil for pain management was preferable to an unnecessarily aggressive approach combining steroids and opiates. Congratulations to the entire ER medical team; you are a credit to the health care profession. Dr. Gerald Goldhaber, NYC
I was very satisfied with my treatment in this hospital. All the staff were very nice, polite and extremely helpful. I left feeling 10 times better than when I came. The only thing that I think they should improve on is moving faster and not leaving people waiting.
I had to go to the ER in the middle of the night, and it was very smooth! I have been admitted quickly, saw a doctor right away. The staff was nice, caring and supportive.
My primary care physician gave me a refferal to the beth Israel ER. I thought it was going to be a horrible experience. I was admitted quickly and given excellent care by Dr Lee and the staff of nurses and team, Especially Mel. I hope I dont have to go back but its comforting knowing its there for unexpected emergencies.
I went to Mount Sinai Beth Israel to have a colonoscopy done. I was very concerned because this was my first time having this kind of procedure done and I did not know what to expect. However, these PRECIOUS individuals: Dr. Dovid, Lizanka Rodriguez, Dr. Min, Dr. Tammy, Dr. Lionel, Nenita, Anna, Fabiola, Riza, ETC. , IMMENSELY gave me the love, care, and concern I so desperately needed! This service was totally AMAZING, and it makes me feel humbly proud and confident to be a part of such an OUTSTANDING Hospital and its services!
One of the best hospitals in my opinion. I live in New York, Queens and I still will only go to Beth Israel. This is because the staff is very friendly and fast compared to the times I had to go to other hospitals through the ER. The doctors and nurses tend to be very nice. I'm a person who constantly asks questions concerning my health but they never make it seem disinterested or too busy to answer my questions. I have been here more than twice this year. Though I must agree with other reviewers that I have had an issue with a security guard when I went to see my mother who was in their care for 7 days. So after the first two times visiting her I knew where to go and would just go to her room. On the third time when I met this security guard he wanted ID which I had no problem presenting but he then wanted me to walk around to the other side of the hospital. I said I always go up this way and he responded not today. I walked around and the door was closed so what a waste of time when I could of been seeing my mother. We then got into an argument where other people behind me also got mad at the fact that he wasn't letting them in either. After a few minutes a nurse came and said what's the problem. We all explained what happened and that we just wanted to see our family member. Which the nurse then let all of us through and we went on our way. Even after that experience I still go to this hospital because the facility is very clean and professional. A clean hospital is always better to me.
Good hospital. Clean bathrooms caring staff. Gives everyone respect and all they need to ge better. The Sw team is caring and informative. All around good experience. It's a large hospital
I think this place is great. Only been here once, but never have a experienced more friendly emergency room staff. They were efficient, understanding, and explanatory. The hospital was quiet and we were seen immediately.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
