I have been a patient of Dr Altorki since 2009 when I believe he saved my life. In the last few years, I have had 3 more surgical procedures with him. He listens, answers questions and has a gentle manner. He and his staff are my "angels."

When I found out I had an 18cm malignant tumor pressing on my right lung, I knew the only surgeon to see was Dr. Altorki. He removed it and another smaller one and preserved my right lung. It is now fully inflated and as good as new and I am on the road to recovery after a Thoracotomy.

Dr. Altorki is brilliant, obviously skilled, extremely kind and also funny. Seventeen years after surgery, I remain grateful for his surgical skills and his continuing and sustained follow up.

Dr. Altorki is a superb surgeon and truly brilliant in his field. He saved my life eight years ago and I have great trust in his judgement. He continues to do research and is at the cutting edge of thoracic surgery and more. The office staff is devoted and totally professional. I highly recommend Dr. Altorki.
