Lorraine has been my dietician for several years now. She is knowledgable, professional, friendly, and so so supportive… you never for a second feel judged by her. I now can live a healthy life style and most importantly… have a healthy relationship with food. She has a ton of great EASY quick recipes that she puts together to meet your weekly goals. Nicole is amazing! She has given me so much useful information when dealing with my diabetes and PCOS. I struggled with my diet and felt helpless before, but she has turned my diet around and I now have such a healthy relationship with food. It’s a great feeling!
I have been working with Nicole at NYC Nutrition for almost a year and I am so pleased with the experience. For years I've had stomach issues but I couldn't pin down the cause. During lockdown, I figured I had the time to build better habits. For the first few months we came up with a plan that eliminated a lot of common food triggers but that didn't feel too restrictive. Since then, we've figured out what foods I may have to be more careful about and also analyzed some other eating habits I have. What I really like about Nicole is that she is warm and realistic about some of the challenges to staying on track. Now I'm able to enjoy food better without stomach issues and we came up with realistic plans for enjoying holidays, work travel, and vacations. It's been such an improvement in my well being that I can't believe I allowed myself to be uncomfortable for so long.

I have been seeing Lorraine since March of 2021. She has absolutely changed my life in the best way possible. Since I was 16, I was told the solution for my irregular period was birth control. Ten years later, at 26, I was diagnosed with PCOS and thyroid issues. I wanted to treat the root causes of my hormonal imbalance by eating the right foods as well as lose weight. Lorraine supported me and guided me brilliantly each step of the way. She is the most supportive amazing coach and teacher I have ever worked with. During this journey, I have lost 30 lbs and my periods are regular for the first time in my life. I would recommend anyone to see Lorraine. From the meal plans, body image discussions, accountability and check in sessions it is truly worth every penny. She is holistic in her approach, incorporating science each step of the way and focusing not just on food but also water intake, sleep, stress and exercise. Lorraine is able to distill complicated scientific information in a very simple explanation that helps guide behavior changes. I cannot recommend Lorraine and New York City Nutrition enough, I would (and have) recommend her to any family member or friend in a heartbeat. Update as of Aug 2022: Original post above was from January 2022. I wanted to share that although I "graduated" nutritional coaching with Lorraine about six months ago and no longer see her, the results have not only lasted but I lost an additional 20lbs. I saw Lorraine on a weekly (or bi-weekly) basis from March 2021-March 2022 but the behavioral/lifestyle changes she helped me implement during that time lasted way past my coaching engagement. I have such a debt of gratitude for Lorraine and everything I've learned from her, including supporting me during the highs and lows, and teaching me to maintain what I learned on my own and without the accountability of meeting with her on a weekly basis. I am now at a healthy stable weight and have not felt restricted or like I was on a diet since I met Lorraine.
