Came in for an eye glasses prescription and check up as zocdoc listed it as covered on my insurance, insurance stated I get a free checkup each year. They charged me $75 just to get the prescription and said my insurance doesn't cover it. Told me I have some dry eye thing and had to come back. First visit took over 2hrs from arrival on time. Second visit they are already 50minutes late and there isn't anyone here. Not impressed with the service. Part of me feel like they are this is a scam or they set it up in a manner that takes advantage of people. Refusal to provide medical records, they said my medical records are the ownership of the main owner and they can only mail them to me after 1 week. They refused to call for approval until I had them get the doctor again. Then they magically were able to call the manager who refused to give me medical records.

The most thorough eye exam I've ever had. I just came for eyeglass prescription. Booked on ZocDoc. At first I thought I the price was high, but then they really examined my eyes thoroughly. Well worth it. I'd drop the $12 charge for credit cards and charge $10 more per appointment.

Really not a fan of this place. Went to get a prescription for glasses. They made me come back for no reason, claimed I had dry eyes, and tried to push their products on me for purchase. Just feels like you’re not getting the best medical treatment/ cannot trust what they say when they’re pedaling.

My experience at NY Laser Vision was timely and thorough—the desk staff, practitioners and doctor took their time explaining everything and addressing all concerns I had. Very pleasant experience overall!

The receptionist were very kind and attentive. Dr.Pinkhasov was nice, and helped me navigate as a first time eye contact user and prescriptions even when she was a bit tired from immediately back to back appointments. She answered my questions with and gave great advice for when I have to order my frames. They also have a nice selection of Teas, and coffee while waiting.

Great office! Attentive and kind receptionists, medical assistant, and doctor. Minimal wait time, and well-equipped, inviting office. Dr. Pinkhasov was thorough and took time to explain my condition and answer any questions.
