My husband was blessed when he walked into the New York Proton Radiation Center. You are greeted by the kindest, professional, caring staff from the people at the very first desk to the beautiful receptionists who check you in. The caring nurses who took his vitals to the techs that administered the radiation were first class, top notch employees. Such compassion from each individual who touched my husband’s life during the 6 weeks he came in. And what can we say about the lovely Dr. Lee. So positive and inspiring and the best cheerleader to get him through his radiation journey. You can’t get through something like that unless you have people encouraging you and always available with anything you needed. So blessed🙏🏼 with much love and gratitude David and Lesley George

I used to Babylon office and the doctors and staff there are amazing the only thing I do have an issue with is the question and answer stuff that you are asking about immigrants to any one of my family being immigrants I don't know what that's about but unless that stops I will not be using them anymore. Why would you even want to know if I know anyone who's an immigrant illegal

The people make the difference. Unfortunately, my first experience wasn't so good, as the equipment broke. My recommendation is to ensure you have a local place to stay, as I believe this issue often arises. Other than that you keep your head up and just push through it.

During a difficult time as a young man, the nypc was full of kind, energetic and supportive souls. From the receptionists, to the nurses, to the security. Everyone takes their role seriously and works hard in order to operate very complicated machinery just to assist me in treating my cancer. Regardless of whatever mood i was in, i would always leave my appointments with my head held higher. Thank you infinitely to everyone involved!!

Everything here is 5 star. The treatment, the facility, the staff, the accommodations, patient advocate, and lastly, the small kitchenette with keurig machine. All this helped the treatment be a positive experience. Thank You!

Dr. Kemeny the most outstanding doctor that I have ever met! I had stage 4 cancer colon that had metastasized to my liver. I was given an 8 percent chance of survival by another doctor. Here I am 25 years later! Thank you Dr. Kemeny

Amazing radiation techs.....I requested female staff only due to modesty issues....they never missed a beat and made me feel safe and loved. Amy Cruz and Denerise Santana were just two of the many lovely ladies who became my friends.They also were very generous with the Spotify every day accomodating all my weird musical requests. The social worker Chrissy Rubin helped me with my Access A Ride issues.....even having the front desk lend me money when I forgot my wallet due to chemo brain and could not pay the driver. Plus helping me set up my Registry which proved to be extremely generous. Venis the security guard was was also very compassionate and would often wait with me as my ride often took a long time to arrive. Tthe other very tall guard who sat inside the glass doors and never failed to BLESS ME every day was a beautiful soul. Abel the nurse was wonderful and always asked me how I was feeling. Caitlyn the nurse also did a great job putting an IV in my arm which is always an ordeal...she got it first time. Mindy and Moe worked together to get my mold just right. They were so sweet. And of course the very best for last - nurse Rosalie Dang and her sidekick, Dr. Shevardian....just so special those two. I threw everything I had at them, including driving Dr. S to probably needing a strong drink after I left our Friday check ins....But he proved himself to stand up to even the most stubborn sheperdess who ever walked into the NY Proton Center. No one wants to get radiation everyday, but I have to admit, I miss seeing everyone each day.....but under different circumstances G-d Willing....Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.....Judith Genova...or as you always called me up to the 2nd floor, "Ms. Genova you can go up now"....

Waiting days for Cheryl to call back. Terrible service for a cancer treatment center. We have been dealing with a Dr Yacoub, which has been the worse experience ever dealing with a doctor. She gives short answers which do not make sense, with incorrect information and diagnosis. She told us my father in law has an aggressive cancer which was incorrect. We had to call his surgeon to verify his diagnosis. The surgeon was astonished that we were told that from a doctor and questioned her position at the center. Dr Yacoub also told us to call a pharmacy and ask them a question about a prescription. The pharmacist told us the doctor should know this simple answer and they need to call the pharmacy not the patient Dr Yacoub also suggested we go to another oncologist for treatment after asking questions that I guess were too complicated for her to answer. Very concerning that this treatment center has a doctor with very poor knowledge and demeanor. If you go here for treatment choose another doctor or go somewhere else. Truly a disgraceful experience.
