The waiting area is a mess they let homeless people come in go to sleep no mask the wait to be seen is ridiculous
Worst service ever. Cases usually are prioritize by situation , however I observed people that came way after my child attended and not once did a nurse nor a doc pass. I had to go to a nurse and asked how long had it been and she said 2ges ago. Mind you my child had chest pain
No one cares around here !Should not be ranked #4 hospital in the country !!May be # 44 more like it !Dirty filthy ER roomMy mother was admitted in ER with sever pain only thing they gave her is morphine ! Still in ER room , no one tells me anything ! 3rd world attention !No one knows why she is having the pain !Shame on administration here and their staff !NY Cornell and Lenox hill 100 times better.
Emergency room experience is horrible , they wanted to place my mom with a COVID positive man , careless nurses and staff( majority of them ) my mom was in for heart condition she was asymptotic, but the result was positive . All the raving is false . You need to accompany you patient . To speak for them EMERGENGY ROOM IS HORRIBLE , nyc hospital emergency rooms in queens , Bronx , brooklyn are better that them
This place is very unprofessional. The way the workers talk over the patients is disgusting. The is no real bed side manner at all. The worker are rude. The only bright spot was the security guard Mr. S. Fuller. He was respectful and personable. The other security guard was rude and nasty, with a chip on his shoulder. I understand that it is still a pandemic but most hospitals would allow at least one person to sit with you in the back. They kept telling my bf and I that there were visitors but I which other ppl go in with visitors. The doctors don't listen to the patients. They are just treating symptoms. I don't recommend going to this ER. It's sad but this use to be one of the best hospitals in NYC.
I had 5 very successful surgeries in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital andI am grateful to God for blessing all of the doctors who were in that Operating Room with me...Let us all remember A doctor is not God. If someone dies in a hospital that person was already very sick and it was beyond the doctors control to save them.. In 1997 ,1998, 2000 and 2002 my daughter had successful surgeries on her heart. Today she is healthy at age 24. I am glad I have chose this hospital for me and my children's medical needs. Yes I have encountered rude staff members at this hospital and I immediately escalated the situation to the correct person(s) it was handled correctly and accordingly.
not too much to say. not too much to say. not too much to say. not too much to say. not too much to say.
I entered the Heart Hospital division due to Premature Ventricular Contraction. The treatment involved 21st century computer technology to map the heart and locate the heart cells sending out electrical pulses. Once mapped the electrophysiologist used a different catheter to scar these cells. The mapping took three hours and the scaring and observation of results one hour. There were seven doctors and nurses in the operating room and numerous nurses and aides in the ward where I spent the night. These workers were without exception professional, friendly and upbeat in the way they treated me. The operation was a complete success and I was able to leave the hospital by 8 am the following morning.
I can’t believe this building called a hospital, human not treated like a human!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
