From the moment he entered the room, he made it clear that it was all about the money up-front.

I work in fashion and take aesthetics pretty seriously. Well, the time had come for me to get a little work done. Two of my coworkers suggested Dr. Heftler. The appointment was easy to make. The office was beautiful, clean and modern in Midtown in the Architecture and Design Building. The Doctor spent the appropriate amount of time with me in consultation and agreed with me that "less is more" and that I did not want to look "done. The Doctors prices were certainly not cheap but the injections were perfect and precise and most importantly the results are subtle and I am very, very happy with them. A great experience all around! I would definitely recommend Dr. Heftler without reservations and will, as he advised, come back for a skin cancer screening.

Been going to Dr. Heftler for 16 years for a variety of skin-related issues. He's amazing. Very knowlegable, skilled, experienced dermatologist. Great attitude: concerned, upbeat, practical. In all the years I've been going there (at least twice per year) I've never had to wait more than about 5 minutes in the waiting room. Well-run office. Staff is friendly, helpful, professional, and cheerful. Many seem to be students bound for health professions. Strongly recommend Dr. Heftler. Great practice.

Doctor Heftler is a first-rate dermatologist, not a psychotherapist. When I visit i prefer to be in and out. I am looking for results, not conversation, from this capable physician. Fortunately, that is what i have received in his office: empathy for my issues, analysis of the problem, and a thoughtful strategy to treat it. Oh, and the Doc has a sense of humor! Which is a not bad thing in these trying times! Central location in Manhattan is icing on the cake.

I have several dermatologic conditions which are chronic and difficult to treat. Over the years I have seen quite a few New York dermatology offices. All of them were rushed, brusque and focused mainly on cosmetic procedures and worse yet, I was usually scheduled to see a P.A. or some junior associate. I chose Dr Heftler based upon my internists recommendation and because he was on the teaching staff at Cornell University Medical College/New York Presbyterian, the best hospital in new York. Dr. Heftler spent time with me to perform a complete body exam and to come up with the right treatment plan. He was thorough, pleasant, and caring. His office was beautiful and modern and his staff was lovely. I have never waited more than 20 minutes to see him and he always works me into the schedule if my concern is urgent. I was beyond grateful that he participated with my insurance plan. I highly recommend Dr Heftler for any medical, surgical or cosmetic dermatology problem you may have.

When my skin started breaking out, especially around my jawline and mouth I was STRESSED! It's tough enough being a single girl in this town, I certainly didn't need that. To make matters worse, I visited 2 different glam derms (you know, the type in Glamour and Allure) and all they did was sell me alot of useless and very expensive cosmeceuticals! My ex-roomate referred me to Dr Heftler and he was awesome. The office was beautiful, convenient, the waits were short and there was no b.s. Visits were brief but that's ok by me, I have a life and I am not the type who gets off on torturing and second guessing my doctors! Dr Heftler started me on the right meds and I cleared up within a couple months. Since then I have referred alot of friends and family and they are all very happy.

Terrible. He runs in and out of the room and does not answer questions.

Dr. Heftler is kind, patient and knowledgeable. He’s been my dermatologist for several years and I’m grateful to have found him. His staff is great and the office very nice. I highly recommend him.
