He is an exemplary physician putting my health before his own recognition he sent me to a doctor whose surgical skills superseded his own which I think is and was a gift from God
He's a liar He said he would do a skin graft using a piece of my ear. When I woke up my ear was fine and after healing I pretty much looked the same, just a couple thousand dollars poorer.
Awful Experience I had an awful experience. I went to Dr. Sands for an office visit. I felt he was rather pushy towards surgery. When I left, I was expecting a normal specialist copay. Two weeks later the office billed $1,150 for a 90-second examination. I don’t know how this organization can justify this cost, considering Dr. Sands admitted he was unable to get a clearer image because the endoscope he used was old and “not great”. I attempted to negotiate the bill and the billing department disrespectfully asked me if I had been “forcibly held down and the endoscope put in my nose without my consent”, and that if not, they wouldn’t help.
Successful procedure, very positive. Very positive experience: I’m somebody who has historically been extremely reticent to go “under the knife” or get even the smallest procedures done. As such, I spent a lot of time diligencing various ENT surgeons and dermatologist to figure out who could help remove a 2-cm cyst that was located in a vulnerable area, in between the ridge of my nose and my eye. After a few consultations with Dr. NoahSands, I decided to move forward with the procedure. I’ve been very, very happy with the results, and, importantly for me, the patience he had in working with me to get me comfortable with the procedure. Awesome results overall and happy with the recovery so far. Would go back!
Dr sands is an outstanding ENT. I have suffered w chronic and difficult sinus infections for years, hospitalized many times because I needed intravenous antibiotics, and I can honestly say that the excellent care that I received with dr sands was far superior to other doctors. He also has an expansive knowledge of antibiotics and how to combine them and achieved me in 2 days what other doctors took 2 weeks to figure out. Thanks dr. Sands Susan felsen
I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Dr. Sands. He was thoughtful, informative, friendly, and very considerate. He's clearly a highly skilled practitioner who cares deeply about his patients' well-being. He took the time to set me at ease, to thoroughly explain the nature of my issue, and to explain the steps that he was taking to resolve it. This was the most pleasant interaction I've ever had with a physician.
Horrible Experience and Care My experience with Dr. Sands and Mount Sinai has been horrendous to say the least. In August of 2019, I first went to him for a rhinoplasty to straighten my nose, fix a collapsed nostril and deviated septum. After the initial procedure was completed, the shortcomings his work become quite evident. While the nose was still very crooked, even more alarming was a large bump on the side of my nose. In an attempt to correct his work, he then completed numerous invasive and painful procedures under only local anesthesia. These procedures included shaving down the inside of my nose, as well as removing cartilage from my ear and placing it back into the nose. These procedures were beyond painful. Over a year later after allowing plenty of time to heal, it was evident that my nose was still very crooked. He agreed and agreed to do a revision procedure at no cost to me. I got a bill after my operation and he refuses to answer any of my emails. This experience has been years of hell and pain.

Over a year later after allowing plenty of time to heal, it was evident that my nose was still very crooked. He agreed and agreed to do a revision procedure at no cost to me. This procedure continuously got delayed due to COVID-19 and a shortage of necessary materials per Dr. Sands leaving me with a result I was extremely unhappy with for additional years. Dr. Sands and his office frequently ignored my emails and pushed back the procedure at a whim a few times. My mother and I visited his office a few weeks before the second procedure scheduled for the end of October in 2022 at which point he made it clear once again that the cost of this procedure would be borne by him. Less than a month later I was sent a bill from Mt. Sinai for approx. $4,200 for the procedure. Upon receipt I immediately called his assistant who was unable to provide any resolution. She had a billing specialist call me and attempt to bully me into paying the bill. I then emailed Dr. Sands which went ignored until my next in office visit. Upon discussing the bill, his tone dramatically changed and he tried to backtrack from his initial assurances that there would be no cost. While removing stitches from my nose he decided to broach the subject and his excuse was "It's sort of like when you go to the mechanic and things add up to more than you thought." He then tried to compare it to a recent experience he had purchasing fancy artwork that led him to pay unexpected moving costs. The most alarming part was him saying with a few years of experience under his belt now he probably would have went about the initial procedure differently. Fast forward to today, Dr Sands has chosen to ignore my emails about the bill and I’ve been forced to see another specialist outside of Mount Sinai to finish the job as a bump still remains on the nose. Unfortunately this experience has been years of hell.
Awesome! Dr. Sands was extremely gracious, personable, patient, and above all, reassuring. I'm not an easy patient to deal with, but he worked quickly and efficiently, and got the job done.
Dr, stands is the nicest doctors i have ever met. I got my keloids removed by him, he explained everything I needed to know. The day of the surgery he was very patients with me. Nathalia the medical assistant she was caring, nice. She made sure I was confortable the entire time. It’s been 2 months since I’m loving my ears more and more every day. I’m supper happy about it. If you look at my ears you can’t tell I had keloids before!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
