Northwell Health Concorde Gynecology At East 32Nd Street's Online Review Report Card

I’m not sure if this practice is the right one for me as yet. But for anyone debating it, here is something to keep in mind, they are closed at 4:30PM and stop answering the phone prior to 4:20PM although their public hours says 5PM. All communications are via the portal, some doctors’ name are not on the list on the emergency call back (my GYN is not). I have not been seeing my doctors long enough to rate them, but administration/hours/calls/etc is definitely 2 Stars.

Literally, the worst administrative staff ever. I called to speak with Dr. Friedman and the office staff member answering the phone, who identified herself only as "Jennifer," gave me complete run around, asked me all sorts of inane questions and then told me she will refuse to schedule an appointment for a patient unless the patient took her "advice". "Jennifer" is a receptionist, not a doctor, and patients should be allowed to make an appointment with their physician of choice. I've seen many appalling thing in the medical word, but this is shocking. "Jennifer" should be re-trained or fired. We found another physician for the patient but Dr. Friedman should know her receptionist is refusing to allow patients to make appointments with her and freely dispensing her own "medical advice."

I came here for a very delicate and painful issue I've been dealing with for 4 years and after seeing many doctors across the USA I think Dr. Christina Kwon is so far the worst of all. She had 0 empathy, made me feel stupid because I had a lot of questions and she was irritated at every appointment. I'm very traumatized due to past experiences and she didn't care to be gentle or considered. What a disappointment to ever cross a female doctor that treats you like this. She skipped humane clase. You're not treating hair. You're treating the most delicate and intimate part of a woman that also involves psychological issues. Dr. Veronica is amazing plus all front desk stuff.

I feel bad leaving a negative review, as I do like the doctors I have been seeing here for years before Concorde became part of Northwell Health. Unfortunately the new admin staff that came along with Northwell have been absolutely horrible. Based on some of the other reviews, it seems I am not alone. I have had a few experiences now where the staff have been completely unprofessional, rude and unhelpful, and after dealing with an argumentative person on the phone today, I may just stop using Concorde all together.

Doctors are amazing but the receptionists are nothing short of incompetent. Told them I was going to be an hour late and we can reschedule. They INSISTED I come in. I explained I live in NJ and it would be really out of the way for me to come and even called them back before getting my bus to reschedule but they insisted again. As I get into the city I received a call telling me we need to reschedule. They then only scheduled the echocardiogram and not the appointment with the Dr I needed. Now I need to take more time off of work to meet with her. Absolutely insane.

I love Dr. Friedman. I will follow her to the ends of the earth if she ever changed locations. HOWEVER, the front staff is absolutely awful. No eye contact, no courtesy, no warmth, nada. You are just a money maker to them. Lots of "fill this out, step aside, have a seat, sign here, pay here now". But, all of that changes once you get called in, so if you can get passed the unprofessional and cold treatment, then go for it.

Been going to Dr Scott Weber for many years He has always been very professional ..
