Unexpected charges for a simple allergy test, even after affirming they take my insurance.

The 36th St location is the WORST NYASC location ever. I have been a patient at midtown east, ues and now here at 36th. The staff have such bad attitude problems. Every time I had an appt, there was always an issue. Even when I was the only person I still had to wait at least 5-10 mins or more. I don't know what is so difficult of getting 4 vials and giving 4 shots. The UES location runs so smoothly compared to this miserable place. Avoid this location at all costs! For my last appt, I showed up half an hour early and they made me wait the entire half an hour for my appt. I was the only patient. I asked the lady in the front and she said "yeah you have a visit, not just shots, so we will call you momentarily." Unbelievable, I just can't fathom why make someone wait half an hour when no one was there.

Best words to describe this place? Scummy and scammy. They lost my HIPPA protected documents then acted like I was ridiculous for being upset and refused to look into what happened. They tried to get me to sign paperwork attesting to a meet with a doctor that I had not had. I saw two different providers violate health standards when administrating shots. Their phone staff are completely untrained and inconsistent in the information they give out. Then to top it all off they tried to withhold my legal property from me by forcing me into a incompletely unnecessary and nonstandard meeting with a doctor. A meeting they no doubt would have charged my insurance and myself an exorbitant amount for. Its pathetic but when you are this bad of a clinic it's probably smart to try to squeeze as much as possible from leaving patients.

Johanna was really nice and helpful throughout my doctors visit, she make sure I understood everything I needed for my sleep study. Doctor’s office was clean and check in was fast.

I’ve never enjoyed the doctors visit have you? Allergy shots weekly can be brutal but the experience at NY Aññergy especially at the front desk with Yvette is spa like! Thanks NYASC for making this easy!

Easy to schedule appointments with good availability. Allergy shot visits are quick. I’m often late, and they are still kind enough to see me.
