I saw Susan during the last trimester of my pregnancy, hoping to find relief from typical third-trimester symptoms like back pain and to encourage a spontaneous delivery. My OB-GYN had recommended induction due to my advanced maternal age, but thanks to Susan’s care, I ended up having my healthy baby boy at 37 weeks—without the need for induction. Susan has a wonderfully warm and relatable presence, which made each session incredibly comforting. The premises were spotless, quiet, and beautifully designed with a modern, inviting feel. What I truly appreciated was the holistic nature of the care. Beyond acupuncture, Susan offered thoughtful recommendations to support my overall well-being, which made me feel genuinely cared for.

I really recommend this group for pre and post natal acupuncture. Both Susan and Wanlin are caring, sensitive, and skilled to make you feel better physically and emotionally. They offer home visits too, which was really helpful for the postpartum phase when the idea of getting on a subway was daunting.

Susan Wallmeyer at NY Chi Acupuncture is a gem. After one visit, my Pelvic Floor Dysfunction was healed. She's so knowledgeable, communicative and supportive. She also sends great health newsletters. Highly recommended!

Susan is incredible. I had horrible sciatica pain in my pregnancy. Could hardly walk. And within hours after seeing her the pain started to vanish and I felt like a new person! She’s also extremely attentive and kind and really takes her time listening. Highly recommend!

I was new to acupuncture before I started seeing Susan. Susan immediately put me at ease, and since my first appointment acupuncture has become a cherished part of my routine. Susan is incredibly attentive and diligent; she always takes the time to explain each step in the process and is able to provide recommendations outside of acupuncture to manage whatever I am feeling. I can't recommend Susan and NY Chi heartily enough!
