I only had a phone consultation so I can’t opine on the services thoroughly but I can say that after the consultation, I would not want to meet with a therapist here. It was very ingenious and made me feel very insecure. A consultation is for the therapist to get to know you better and fit you into their practice but also at the same time maintaining a therapeutic environment and if vulnerable things are shared, it should be received with care and comfort. It should make the person coming to you feel like they are in a safe and helpful space not met with robotic tones and confusion. I was very disappointed and left the session very upset.

Disapppointing, money-hungry organization. I had a consulatation and the woman barely spoke to me for two seconds before asking if I was familiar with their rates, and hanging up on me after i said i could not afford it. Please tell me who can afford a 275$ per session therapy with NO insurance taken? Right, ultra wealthy. Forget average working New Yorkers who also need healing in their life. Clearly, we don't get sick, and we don't deserve integrative wellness or healing. If you care about wellness, community justice, or society, maybe stay away from places such as this. No sliding scales offered? The APA encourages therapists to work with clients for reduced rates or pro Bono services....under the FAQ on their sister org "Soho Integrative EDMR" it says they do not offer sliding scale but they support affiliated partners who do....NY Health Hypnosis was listed as one such affiliated partner, and yet their prices are exactly the same and they do not offer any sliding scale as insinuated. Manage expectations with potential clients by fixing this clear misrepresentation, and furthermore, maybe consider the reality that 275$ per session with no insueance for an ongoing service is unaffordable for 75% or more of new yorkers, and actually offer sliding scale...
