Dr. Schanzer saved my lower leg over 30 years ago when I had an abscess on my ankle that was close to gangrene. It was a two-stage procedure that required cleaning the wound, over a week of recovery, and then a skin graft. All these years later, the good doctor's work is still perfect. What can you say about someone who saves your leg, treats you like family and is one of the very best in his field. I guess what you say is Thank You, Dr. Schanzer.

I highly recommend Dr. Schanzer. He treated me for varicose veins. My experience from beginning to end was perfect. I believe he is one of the best vascular surgeons and recommend him without reservation.

Belkis was friendly and accommodating to my schedule when making a consultation. When I met with Dr. Schanzer I immediately felt at ease and was reassured that everything I read in my research was accurate. Dr. Schanzer's knowledge and way of explaining the process for varicose vein treatments made me feel at ease. Dr. Schanzer and his entire staff are a pleasure . His staff is always helpful when trying to arrange the most convenient time for appointments and they keep time in the waiting room to a minimum. Dr. Schanzer explained exactly how he was going to treat my varicose veins and i had no discomfort before or after the procedures. He has also been treating my spider veins and is very realistic when telling me which ones can be treated and which ones are too small to successfully eliminate. Dr. Schanzer came highly recommended to me by many friends and I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking to treat varicose and spider veins.

I went here for laser surgery for veins in my lower leg. I wound up with much worse ropy veins where he inserted the laser tube. I have terrible veins protruding from my groin to my knee. My lower leg remained the same. The surgery was very uncomfortable and Dr. Schanzer hasn't a clue how to treat woman. He told me to relax and tell some jokes during the surgery. He thought that would relax me.
