Heidi is among the best decisions of my life. Heidi was my therapist in my 20s and I think, feel, and sense that it was a life-changing experience. It improved my life. It made me a better person. It made a better human. My life in NYC became awesome after my sessions with Heidi. She was as transformative as my yoga practice. She was caring and empathetic. She is a one of a kind listener. Heidi is a highly intuitive, compassionate therapist who incorporates her own sense of morals and values into her work. I’ve been to several therapists and respond to Heidi who consistently gives me perspective on my own anxieties and worries, and offers outside resources that help me feel more connected to the world. While I did not use Heidi's psychotherapy services, I did get to know her in order to photograph her in an authentic way. Learning her story made it very clear to me that she sees things that others do not. She uses this gift in her work and I feel fortunate I was able to get to know her, even for a short time.
