To give just 5 stars is not enough, they deserve 100 of them. Let me tell you that I’ve been seeing doctors for years and got used to chronic pain as noone could fix it, but Dr. Greuner diagnosed the problem within 5min of my appointment.This is the best care and treatment you can get, not just in New York, but worldwide. I came from Europe to specially see dr. Greuner and glad I did. No wonder he is ranked as top 5 doctors in the world. He is so carrying, knowledgeable and genuinely an amazing person.The staff and dr. Tonis were so friendly and welcoming, they took the time to explain everything in detail and answered all the questions that I had. They followed up after the procedure to make sure everything was good with me before my traveling back to Europe.They don’t just treat you, they make sure you leave their office healthy, pain free and with a smile on your face. I can’t thank you enough how you changed my life. From constantly being in pain to being pain free, really increased quality of my life.

The comfort and communication is top notch. I went in twice for sports related fractures in the hand and foot, something that was suppose to take me out of the game for at least 6 months, Dr. Greneur managed to have back at peak performance within weeks with no pain. I emphasize on communication because he explains to you exactly what he's doing, why he's doing it, what works, what doesn't work, and is always very clear on what to do after treatment. He even takes time to show and explain the research behind his methods. He gets straight to the point. It become very clear why he's a world class doctor once the results start to set in.Appointments at NYC Surgical are easy to make and accessible to anyone. The staff are professional and always communicate to keep you updated. From the times I've been there they've treated everyone with the same respect which made me feel comfortable. 100% recommend, especially if you don't have time for nonsense or unnecessary runs rounds.

He showed me every scan of my arteries and explained everything clearly. I felt calm before my surgery only thanks to him. I have been a patient of Dr. Greuner's for about 10 years. I have quite a few issues due to being heavy most of my life. Dr. Greuner has repaired a hernia and performed a tricky panniculectomy that made my life so much more mobile. He has tackled my numerous vein issues in both legs with endovenous laser surgery and helped me overcome a serious blood clot I suffered from after a long flight by prescribing a thrombectomy. The level of care I have received from Dr. Greuner and all of his staff is the best there is in NYC. He has gone above and beyond for me and continues to stay on the cutting edge of what the most state of the art treatments are available. He also takes time to explain what is happening, and why, and makes sure I understand the treatment, including the risks, when he provides surgical treatment. As I have often told Dr. Greuner when under his care, I trust him with my life.

Let me just say I would definitely recommend anyone NYC surgical,and here's why. For almost 2years I suffered with an umbilical hernia, which is extremely painful. I made 4 ER visits and all they did was push the hernia back in(painful) and gave me pain meds. I took upon myself to google a doctor. This place was the first one I saw. Made a phone call, they ran my insurance and in about 2weeks I had a consultation with the awesome Dr. David Greuner. Isabel the receptionist, who's always pleasant emailed me all the paperwork which was very detailed. The first person I spoke with was a really sweet nurse by the name of Ashley. We spoke about what my major issues were. Ten minutes later I met Dr Greuner who was super pleasant and professional. He examined my hernia and started to explain to my what kind of hernia I had and what the procedure will be. Guys from that moment I knew I was in great hands. He explained to me EVERYTHING in detail, showed diagrams when I seemed confused and was very patient. He was extremely honest about how the process goes how much pain I would feel etc. By my first appointment the Dr explain to me I have a few other issues besides the Hernia. I would constantly have to use the bathroom and couldn't stand for long periods without my legs cramping or feeling numb. Dr. Greuner fixed all of that, with my permission of course and I wasn't even there for that. Thank you Dr! Because of you I don't spend my days in agonizing pain anymore. I am completely satisfied with the care I've received while at NYC SURGICAL. The office is clean, the staff is super awesome and friendly all while being professional. Thank you to nurse Nicole for always being so kind, and keeping me came with great conversations, Nurse Ashley thank you for always making sure I fully understand all the information I received every trip, you go above and beyond and it's appreciated , Ariana thank you for always being attentive to my pain levels, being patient and calling to check in. And most importantly Dr David Greuner I tell you every visit you are heaven sent. Thank you for your knowledge and patience.

Putting that aside, I had been receiving annual check ups to make sure all was ok so I did not make a big deal about it. A few months ago I visited the Roslyn office for an unrelated procedure and after planning my day around the appointment and after waiting 20 minutes for said appointment, I was advised that there was no one available to treat me. I voiced my annoyance to the Physician Assistant who greeted me; did not rant or rave or act out in any way, yet was told by a Dr Vonis (as he walked away from me!) that they didn't need people like me and to never come back. What a rude and unprofessional way to treat someone! I was shocked and surprised and reached out to Dr Greuner by mail and phone to let him know angry I was after this interaction. No apology, no communication or call back from him or anyone else there. So to all existing and new patients - just beware if you have an issue - they will cut you off! What distinguishes a good business from a not so good one, is how they react in these kinds of circumstances.

Doctor David Greuner is an amazing doctor. I had great results after the surgery with him. Highly recommend!

Frist it takes two days to check your insurance, second they say they dont know if they have a doctor who does reconstructive herna surgery, if they have all kinds of surgerys why dont they know if they have a doctors qualified for different kinds of surgerys, it false advertising.
