I have greatly enjoyed my treatment with NYHD. The entire team was amazing and helped me with my health issue. I will and do recommend them to anyone who is experiencing a related issue.
Excellent care team, exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a full range hearing test (up to 20kHz) as I like to regularly check on my ears for work, and they delivered. They were able to accommodate me same-day and made the experience seamless and easy.
Jenna Trupp is the best doctor ever she was so helpful and informative.
I highly recommend NYHD and, specifically, clinical audiologist, Natalie Crossland, for anyone looking for tinnitus relief. I am so thankful that a hearing doctor at ENT recommended NYHD. Natalie is knowledgeable and very patient with my million questions. Robby and Lisette at the front desk are also very welcoming and kind.
Jenna Tripp was beyond excellent. She was warm and friendly immediately and she explained everything that was going to happen clearly. I knew she cared and that was so reassuring. Highly recommend her
TLDR: The best healthcare experience I've ever had. I got tinnitus, BAD, after a moderate bout with COVID. Lowest point of my life by a wide margin. My PCP was useless (as per usual with Optum) and the large medical group ENTs/Audiologists in my area refused to answer a single question I asked over the phone to get a feel for what care/treatment may look like. As if tinnitus itself wasn't sufficiently demoralizing. After a fair amount of research, it was clear I needed to find an office that was specifically knowledgeable in regards to tinnitus and would offer a wide range of treatment options. I wanted to find an office that offered Lenire so I had that as an option. When I called NYHD, I immediately knew this was the place. I forget who I spoke with on the phone, but they gave a damn about what I was going through and did the best they could to offer some insight as to what my visit may entail and general information about Lenire. My appointment was a total validation of the vibe of that phone call. Every step of the way I felt informed and cared for. Even though I mentioned Lenire on the phone, it was never pushed on me (I ended up not doing Lenire). Dr. Crossland (and the assistant) was beyond wonderful. I have never felt so heard by a doctor in my life. She walked me through what I was experiencing, answered every question I had, and laid out treatment options (Lenire, ear wax removal, counseling, ear protection, self care/life adjustments, etc)... for almost 2 hours! After months of suffering and being devoid of answers, I finally felt like I had solid ground under my feet. I ended up getting some impacted ear wax removed and to no surprise, the experience was great (well, as pleasant as getting water blasted into your ear could be haha). My tinnitus was initially worse in the one ear and the ear wax removal balanced it out and reduced my overall level. W. But that's not even the end of it. Each one of my post appointment follow up calls has been exceptional. First, the fact that I even get more than 1 is remarkable. First, Dr. Crossland reached out to me and we discussed a relapse I had, refined some self care steps and gave me the contact info for counseling options. Since then I have improved. Just recently I got another follow up call from Robby, whose genuine positivity was medicine by itself. Health, care. This is what it should be like!
My Neurologist referred me to this clinic to check for possible balance problems related to my ears. Starting with Robby, who scheduled my appointment, everyone I met there were extremely polite, courteous and professional. Anna, with a sweet smile, had me fill out a short form asking about my medical history. I met Robby, who manages the clinic, there as well. I was very soon (no waiting) introduced to Ms. Sargeant, a doctoral resident who handled the routine hearing test. After that she took me in to see Dr. Trupp. Ms. Sargeant stayed there to assist her. Dr. Trupp assessed my balance issues. It was a long and presumably exhaustive examination, but it wasn't annoying in the least due to the courtesy and professional attitude displayed by everyone. I've never had a doctor's visit that was this long and I very highly recommend New York Hearing Doctors Institute.
Excellent and friendly service from the whole team. Dr. D’Auria is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to work with his patients to provide the care that they need.
$300 for a consultation? If that’s not greed then I don’t know what is. I understand your time is valuable and have bills to pay of your own including high Manhattan rent, but you’re aware that majority of us live paycheck to paycheck, so $300 is ALOT to us minimum wage slaves. On top of that we don’t get that $300 refunded if we actually decide to get into any treatment they offer. I believe a consultation alone shouldn’t be more than $50-100. $300 for a consultation is just heartless. Check this, at Bosley (hair transplant place) in Manhattan offer free consultation and they actually get involved with a camera to check your scalp, write down things for you that you could do if you aren’t eligible for hair treatment yet, etc, etc and let me repeat, it was FREE consultation there. Edit: I’m aware, but still stand behind what I’ve said. Have a good day.
All the people there are very good; helpful and friendly. On the medical side, Dr. Trupp is excellent in every way. She was friendly, explained everything, and carefully administered the tests making sure I was comfortable at every step. Highly recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
