The said 24 hour hot line for patients to call post-procedure was not available at 8am on a Tuesday morning. This is outrageous. I was in severe pain and needed to talk to someone and I couldn’t even get to the call center not to mention a doctor after my procedure.

My recent visit was as a new patient and I found the experience very pleasant and helpful. Getting an appointment was quicker than I anticipated and my Dr and each Nurse that I interacted with allayed all my concerns. Thus far I am happy with this Center.

I do not recommend NYU Langone Fertility Center for IVF if you’re looking for individualized care. While some of the nurses and resident doctors are attentive, the center operates in a “factory” mode - who you get to see depends on who’s on call that day - and patients rarely see their primary fertility doctor after the initial consultation. This approach exposes patients to more risks, including insufficient post-operative care, inadequate prevention & monitoring for OHSS, and even over-sedation during surgery.

They never got back to you after initial consultation. When I finally spoke to someone about the next step, they were going to put me through procedure that was not discussed and was not agreed to. On top of that, they drew my blood for genetic testing despite they know it is not going to be covered my insurance and despite there were no plan in place… this clinic definitely cares more about $$$ than anything else. Do not recommend at all cost.
