Oh this place is so great! The way the staff treats you and takes care of you is beyond words. I had really bad back pain from the epidural from giving birth. I couldn’t even bend over to wash my face in the morning. Going to chiropractors and acupunctures did help, but barely. My friend Hema told me about OMNYC so I decided to give it a try. Hema was in a car accident and after coming here she said she felt so much better and she wasn’t lying! I came here to get acupuncture and in 2 days my body felt soooo much better! I woke up that second day after treatment and carefully bent over but didn’t feel any pain for the first time in years! THIS is how you know who is experienced and who actually listens and knows where your body needs attention. They don’t just go by the textbook, they listen to you and their experience and skills takes over. 10 stars please.

It was my first time at OM NYC. The office was clean, quite and organized. Helen (Acupuncturist) was professional and kind. I was referred to her by a good friend of mine. My problem was mostly my back pain. I had a pleasant experience with Helen. She noticed I was new to acupuncture and was extremely gentle with me. I will definitely com back for more treatment.

I had a best friend throughout my youth up until last month. I will never forget her but she won’t be missed. Her name was Acne. She stayed with me through events, exams, and my career. My festering insecurity led me to meet with numerous dermatologists to leave her.. but clearly she had other thoughts. Alas, we had finally began to part ways. I knew Acne and I were in a toxic relationship so I met with Dr. Helen through a friend. Acupuncture and herbs.. hm.. it was a new experience. With nowhere else to go, I began treatments with Dr. Helen and started clearing up within a few days. Turns out it wasn’t just Acne I had to deal with but several others as well. I will forever be greatful to Dr. Helen for giving me confidence. She’s changed the way I feel about myself. Thank you! 🙏🏼

I went to Dr Pyo for my chronic shoulder pain. i am also acupuncturist in NYC and run very busy clinic treating as many as 30 patients a day. years of working with many injured city workers, i developed chronic shoulder pain. i have my personal massage therapist who is very good but relief is temporal and lasts only few hours. when i went to Dr Pyo's clinic and received a treatment relief lasted much longer almost two weeks. price was kinda high but considering the location it was fair. i was begging her to move to Queens or LI where easily accessible.

I am very disappointed with this place. My sister came here (she is 19) with: acne that will not go away, blocked pores and blackheads, oily skin, acne prone skin, and wanted a more natural way to approach her skin problems. Although her skin is not HORRIBLE and does not have a serious health condition, she has many ways her skin could improve. However, Doctor Helen just took a look at her skin and said 'oh, it looks fine!' she laughed at my sister as if she was mental for coming here.. but she explained to Doctor Helen that all her older siblings have worsened acne, starting from 19 onwards and it only gets worse. She wants to find a dermatologist before she breaks out like the rest of us. However, Doctor Helen was completely unprofessional, and just looked at her skin over the receptionist desk and said 'oh... it looks fine....' with a smirk. She did not examine her with light or closely at all. We insisted to have our skin examined because we travelled 40 minutes here thinking it would be good. and yet Doctor Helen said, oh i guess... if you want SOMETHING i could give you these herbal pills. So we ask: what is contained in these herbal pills? all she says is 'it cools blood, good for body' but we ask again, what kind of herbs are in here? there are certain herbs we are allergic to. and she will NOT tell us what is contained inside the pills and said 'take it, its very good for your health and coolsblood...' So we take it, and for pills for 5 days it is $300. (not only extremely costly, but also had no results) This is a scam, and not worth it. If you want a substance that cools blood you can just buy chinese herbal tea like 'ya sei mei' herbal tea which will have the exact same effect. This place is unprofessional, and did not take time out of their day to even properly examine their client although we had an appointment. Lastly: YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE HORRIBLE SKIN TO GO TO A DERMATOLOGIST. If you have ANY SKIN problems, dermatologists should LISTEN and try help you treat it. So do NOT go here unless your skin is uncontrollably bad or else they will not take you seriously. This place is insensitive, costly, and produced no positive results at all. We went to another acupuncture place in Hong Kong called Albert place practice. He saw her problems and provided acupuncture treatment to release toxins from body. He then provided the same herbs, told us WHAT herbs that were grinded into it, and he sold this for 40 USD for 12 days worth. These were much more effective as they were provided for a longer period of time. Please do not come to Omnyc Acupuncture.

I used to have an acne problem on my chin due to hormonal imbalance. My first visit was in January and my chin area got so much better within 2 weeks (I went there twice a week). I was so impressed with the facial and acupuncture treatment and now I am visiting the clinic every month to get rid of impurities from deep inside my pores to take care of my sensitive skin. Dr.Helen is so kind and professional, and I'd definitely recommend this place to someone who has any kind of skin problem!

I've suffered from eczema and really bad acne from my teenage years to adulthood. I practically lived in the dermatology office trying all different methods. Nothing worked.. so I went to Helen's office for more of a natural approach. She prescribed me herbal medication along with acupuncture treatments. I also had pore cleansing facials with light therapy done every week and its amazing. My body and face cleared up almost all the way now. Helen's warm and very precise in her work. On my first visit, she gave me a jar of delicious green tea! Thank you! I think all new patients do? I would definitely recommend Omnyc Acupuncture to anyone that would need medical attention.

Went today for my first ever session. I have a huge knot in my shoulder-and I hold all my stress in my neck-which doesn't help. 1 session and I can move my shoulder again already. I can't imagine how good I will feel after the next one!
