Simply outstanding. Dr. Oh took the time to meet with us and fully explain our son's procedure, answering all our questions. When it was time for the surgery, HE personally wheeled my wife upstairs to the OR while she held our infant. Everything from his caring and patient approach to the quality of his work was exemplary. This is what a surgeon should be and I would hands down recommend him to anyone needing pediatric surgery.

My 15yo son needed an emergency appendectomy and we feel so lucky that Dr Oh was on call. Before surgery, he explained everything simply but thoroughly which put us at ease. The surgery went perfectly and Dr Oh made follow up effortless. Our son made a quick and full recovery. The teenager said, “He’s the GOAT!” Thank you, Dr Oh!

The absolute best surgeon anyone can ask for. Was there for my daughters needs during her gallbladder surgery and explained every detail. He answers emails right away and always checks on the patient. He answers all questions and takes his time explaining. If anyone ever needs a pediatric surgeon Dr Stephen oh is the one to go to. Absolutely amazing. I cannot thank him enough.

There is so much that we want to say about how much Dr. Oh means to our family. Our son’s trip to Weill Cornell was the first medical challenge our family has faced (we have been very lucky), and sitting in the ER hearing his diagnosis was the scariest moment of our lives. But when Dr. Oh walked in to the room in the ER, we immediately felt reassured. He was confident, smart, compassionate and patient as he walked us through the surgery he needed and his recovery. Our son’s surgery went perfectly thanks to Dr. Oh and his team, and his recovery has been smooth. Dr. Oh has been available to us through every step of his recovery, and it is very reassuring to know he is there if we have any questions or concerns. We both will never forget Dr. Oh walking into our room to let us know the surgery went well – with a huge smile on his face that immediately made us feel better. Dr. Oh clearly has a gift - not only for surgery, but also for caring for scared parents during difficult times. We feel incredibly grateful that Dr. Oh happened to be on call when we were in the ER, and would recommend him without any reservation to any other family who needs a surgeon to care for their child. He is the best of the best.

Dr Oh treated my daughter after a car accident. His bedside manner is excellent and he is extremely professional, capable, and responsive. We fell fortunate to be in his care.

I was so lucky to go to emergency room and get doctor Oh to do surgery on my 8 years old son. Very kind, knowledgable, and took the time to put me at easy and kept up with my son's recovery. Two days after surgery, it looked as if my son had no surgery at all. Very grateful! The very best!!
