Dr. Chung is the BEST! I saw him for treatments needed to conceive both of our children and his care and expertise are exceptional. Dr. Chung and his staff are always willing to accommodate your needs and always put the patient first. He makes you feel at ease during every procedure. Truly one of the best doctors I have ever used. While we don't plan to have any more children at the moment, Dr. Chung knows that we will be back if we change our minds :)

We are all looking for one thing when we read these reviews. #1, Results! It is with the highest respect and gratitude I can assure you, Dr. Pak Chung will give you those results. While we all have varying circumstances to work with, Dr. Chung will consider your uniqueness and do the highest caliber of work his job will allow him, with the most kind, non judgmental, and empathetic approach. We are 5 months pregnant as I write this with a healthy baby. Our story: Dr. Chung was recommended to me by a friend that had results 2x both with timed intercourse. She also recommended him to another mutual friend and she too, has a healthy singleton from IVF. My situation was a little different from my friends because we had some genetic problems and we had limited insurance options for treatments. Dr. Chung kept all this in mind and recommended the most streamlined plan. It took about a year and a half as we tried the easier methods first instead of his recommendation, and sadly they failed. When we decided to take his advise, and go all in with IVF, it worked! Here are some details about our experience with Dr. Chung that made him stand out above the other doctors. He was well liked by all the staff. One of my nurses once remarked to me that he was her favorite. I asked why and she said because of the way he speaks to people. He was very nice. I.E. Excellent bedside manor. I noticed on several occasions Dr. Chung had this uncanny ability to anticipate my questions before I even spoke them. Even when things were not going well for me, he treated me with dignity and compassion. His personal secretaries were hired by him and they were the absolute best to deal with! They always called me back or emailed me in the same day if they could. He is incredibly dedicated to his profession. He may seem rushed sometimes but that is because he sees as many patients as he can and tries his best to be there for all of them. I believe he spends extra hours in the lab and hospital. If you would feel more comfortable having him do your transfer, he will do that for you if he can. You just have to ask! :D Speaking of the transfer, don't be afraid. (and the retrieval = no fear) Everyone was so good at their job! I was also able to meet the embryologist before the transfer. Although Jason, the embryologist, had his mask up, looking into his eyes, gave me such hope. I could tell he knew I had a good chance and he believed in the successful outcome. I can not express my eternal gratitude for the way I was treated and considered under Dr. Chung's care. I will forever be misty eyed in thinking of him. He was our success story and angel. Thank you Dr. Chung.

Couple words is very knowledgeable about Ivf and take the time and call me personally to let me know things about my progress ! Even do my heart is broke with my second Ivf Canceld is best for me and he did not look to take money !! His not that tipe of the doctor at all ! He gives us the money back from the canceld Ivf not all but most of it do I can put it true my egg donor procedure !really amazing doctor!!!!!!! Thanks god I found same one like him and I trust him one day I will do have my baby and with god help !!!!

Quite disappointed in Dr. Chung. I was a returning patient and he basically took my money and ran. I received no care from him and after multiple treatments where he didn't even monitor me or change things up - I was advised to give up. Well can someone give me 100k back?

I do not believe that someone gives good rate for him. Did they write review by themselves? He and his assistants are terrible just thinking infertility is big business for them. They just think how they can take money from you. His nurses made so many mistakes. If you think your heath and money are important for you, then you should stay away from them. They do not care about you or result, care about your money. They are so cold.

I have 3 children due to the hard work of Dr Pal Chung. I understand this process can be awful, and there is a temptation to blame someone for unsuccessful cycles. Dr. Chung is the only dr I Recommend to couples in the struggle. When it was time to stop, he told me.

He did what no one else could. Twice and after stage 2 cancer!

I had such a fear of all dentistry and then I was recommended to Dr .Pak's office and I'm so happy I switched. He was so patient and all of the staff was so helpful and accommodating to my schedule

Dr. Chung and his staff specially Lilian is horrible, rude and very unprofessional. Their only goal is to take your money and not caring at all about your treatment. I have couple of failed IVF and IUI treatments from other facilities and have been recommended specialized IVF not the conventional ones that are all performed at big well known name hospital like Weill Cornell, Columbia, and NYU. I know a lot about IVF protocols because as I said before I've been going through infertility treatment for the last six years and very familiar with my diagnosis. So before I go in for my first consultation I asked his office if Dr. Chung specializes in other types of IVF ( like mini IVF for older patients) but his staff and Dr. Chung himself refuse to tell me and give me more info about his practices and the type of IVF he performs. They keep forcing me to go to my first consultation which costs $1200 out of pocket before they'll even consider telling me anything about Dr. Chung. I am not asking for a diagnosis over the phone all I'm asking is his credentials and his specialty so I know whether or not his the right doctor for me. I don't want to sit there and WASTE my money only to hear that he doesn't practice mini IVF. He wants me to give him all my money first before he divulges his credentials. That practice his criminal and his license should be taken away. Dr.Chung and his staff's main goal is only to take your money away and not help you. So for those who are new with the whole infertility treatment beware of this Doctor. He is not forthcoming, his website doesn't even say much about him and the types of IVF treatments he specializes in. He'll only tell you to keep trying when he know deep in his heart his treatment will only give you failure IVFs. The only reason he will tell you to keep trying and not recommend for you to seek other types of treatment is because he wants to take all your money. And shame on Weill Cornell for having this dishonest Doctor practice at your facility !
