List of Park Avenue Endocrinology & Nutrition's Reviews
I tried to make an appointment. The woman that answered the phone I think her name was Vanessa was imitating she had to be imitating the Vanessa that’s on Instagram the little cartoon character that is really rude to customers. I couldn’t believe it. She’s paid to represent a professional image of that company… Ridiculous ridiculous
Dr. Jackness is a thorough and caring physician. He has always taken great care of my misbehaving thyroid. He lets patients help drive the course of their treatment and really listens to what you are experiencing. He makes adjustments to care accordingly.
I am so disappointed to have to write this review about Dr, Gillian Goddard, but I feel it is incumbant upon me to inform others of the lack of care they will receive at this office. I was a patient of Dr. Goddard for more than 9 years. I was one of her very first patients when she had hardly any patients at all. I used to receive such attentive and thorough care that I would travel an hour and a half to see her. Now I live 5 minutes away and will never go back. I have noticed that as her patient load increased her care went in in the opposite direction to the point I didnt feel like anything more than a 5 minute time slot with a paycheck. At first I attributed the diminshed quality of care, fewer tests, less time spent with me, to Covid, but when I saw her this past Novemebr, my blood was taken, 5 minutes were spent with me and I was sent on my way. Unlike the last few years of stability, I saw that my blood results were terrible, and mind you I was left to review and try to understand the results myself. I did not receive a phone call as was her protocol in the past. In fact, it was up to me to message her on the portal, once, twice, IGNORED. I called the office and left messages, ONCE, TWICE, and again IGNORED. In fact I never heard from Dr. Goddard again. The office staff was rude when I called and and asked for her to call me. I have quite a few doctors who use the healow app and who all always respond to messages, even doctors I have not yet seen. I was Dr. Goddard's patient for a DECADE! NOw, I am not feeling well. It is extremely difficult to get into an endocrinologist nowadays and I feel worse every day. This is the quality of care you can expect at this Park Avenue office. SHE WILL IGNORE ALL MESSAGES TO YOU. In all seriousness, I get much better care at my neighborhood urgent care.
Truly appreciative of Dr Jackness’ care. However I received several VERY large unexpected bills despite discussing and agreeing to a payment plan for my care with the doctor and front desk staff. I’ve spent the last 2 years trying to pay it down and still have thousands of dollars left to go.
Doctor Jackness is the best doctor. Warm, kind, responsive, and works with you. As someone with a complex medical history and someone who has struggled to find doctors who take me seriously and offer me compassion, Doctor Jackness has saved my life. I recommend him fiercely, and am so grateful and blessed to have such an incredible endocrinologist.
I have been advised by this practice that it will no longer treat patients whose insurance coverage is Medicare-AARP United Health Care Supplemental Plan F.
Dr. Jackness is INCREDIBLE. The office is clean, and I am always treated with respect and kindness by the staff. They are so helpful and prompt to respond.
I love my doctor and one person in the PA department, but they need more staff
I cannot believe how unorganized this office is! I paid my bill and they still keep sending bills. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing in billing, in medical care and basic office management. Though Dr. Goddard is nice, it doesn't help when medically there is no accuracy, which my GP office had to eventually take into their own hands, and they are not even specialists. Getting in touch with the office is almost impossible but they have the nerve to keep sending invoices that have been paid. Go elsewhere, nothing to see here!
I met with Dr. Goddard once. The same day I saw her for the first time, I had a biopsy of my thyroid and lymph nodes. Once I got the biopsy results back, I found out I needed surgery within the month. With Thyroid surgery, you need an endocrinologist and I figured since I was now a patient, she would work with my ENT doctor (she’s the only endo. I have ever seen). Long story short, I had my surgeon’s office fax her my records only for her to be completely unresponsive still to this day btw (this was back in June). If she didn’t want to take me on as a patient, she shouldn’t have billed my insurance and told me she was going to work with me. I had to get a new endocrinologist 2 days before my surgery (thank god my ENT had someone) but it became a huge challenge on top of the already difficult challenge I was facing in my health. My life was on the line and she just didn’t care. I almost couldn’t do the surgery because of her lack of caring for me as a patient. Despite our best efforts, she didn’t call me or my surgeon even after receiving his cell. Also, in our initial appointment, she did bloodwork for me. I never received a call to go over the bloodwork I just had to view it myself and use google. I then had to get repeat bloodwork done at my ENT because what was tested for by her was irrelevant in what I needed done. If you need a reliable and professional endo., don’t use Dr. Goddard!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
