Dr. Selber is a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon who has received special recognition throughout the medical community for his expertise in treating gait disorders. He has revolutionized the treatment of gait disorders using innovative diagnostic and therapeutic techniques that he himself developed, which have proved to be successful in improving the quality of life in many patients suffering from various problems interfering with their ability to walk. Dr. Selber's approach to his patients is comprehensive, using both Surgical and Non-Surgical techniques which have proved to enhance the lives of so many adult and pediatric patients. He is an brilliant physician who is compassionate and extremely down to earth, that I myself as physician can recommend and guarantee that you will not be disappointed as I have not been myself in seeking Dr. Selber's help. Dr. Paulo Selber has excellent communication skills, however I cannot say the same for his staff. Getting through to him via email or messages has been problematic, however once my daughter does do video calls with him, she is very impressed with the years of expertise and knowledge that he has. In addition, she was amazed to learn that her pediatric orthopedic surgeon , Dr. Eugene Bleck at Stanford had training experiences regarding gait analysis.

I can’t speak for Columbia itself as an institution. I can say that I get the feeling Columbia is understaffed right now. My experience with Dr. Paulo Selber has been exceptional! He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in the area of cerebral palsy. Adults with cerebral palsy are seriously underserved. Dr. Selber is empathetic to his patient’s needs. He is a joy and a delight to work with.You truly get the sense that he wants to help improve peoples lives. I feel confident in Dr. Selber. He has years of experience to execute anything deemed medically necessary in regards to the disability of cerebral palsy.
