My appointment today (Friday, December 3, 2021) was a continued and extended care for my reason of first arriving at the 280 Madison Avenue office a few weeks ago. My appointment today included meeting with the soft-spoken Acupuncturist (Dr. Tan), forgive me if I misspelled her last name, meeting with my dynamic Chiropractor (Dr. G. Kuang), and the limitless, energetic Masseuse, "Vanessa." If one ever decides that he/she need to "Show Oneself Love," I highly recommend that you give Peterson Chiropractic a moment of your time. The moment you walk in, you are greeted by the lovely women at the front line (front desk) to the various doctors within the vicinity, who will tend to your need(s) which would be a step of being well attended to your needs.
Dr. Peterson really takes his time to listen to your concerns.
Dr Kuang is wonderful. Professional and kind-hearted. Definitely going back to seek help from him.
Very knowledgeable and professional. Knows how to treat their patient. Will always go here! I recommend this place to anybody
Extremely professional and efficient service
Dr. Peterson and staff are top notch. He not only cares for your physical needs, he’s also concerned with his patients psychological needs as well. He knows ta all connected. At today’s visit, he asked, what was troubling me. I’m simply replied, “I’m not going to say anything, I’ll let you figure it out.” And yes, he found EVERYTHING.
Great experience. Very professional.
I have used Chiropractor as part of my healthcare regime. Looking to replace my retired chiro, I came across Peterson Chiropractor on Groupon. I did my due diligence and discovered they are rated among the Top 10 in NYC. I had my first visit yesterday and agree. I found my chiropractor .
Dr. Gordon & Dr. Peterson are wonderful providers. Staff are professional. Service on point. 20 + years coming here. I would highly recommend.
Dr. Peterson is a life saver. I have fibromyalgia and have tried a lot of different kinds of treatment, and most providers (especially physical therapists) have just ended up injuring me. Dr. Peterson is very well educated about fibromyalgia and consistently provides relief for joint, muscular, and myofascial pain. He uses a combination of chiropractic techniques/realignment and e stim on trigger points. He also offers lifestyle/posture advice for pain reduction as well some stretches and strengthening movements. I feel strongly that he absolutely cares about my well-being and I really trust him. I have other friends who have gone for short-term issues and quickly recover with him; since I have a chronic issue, I have to go pretty regularly, but when my health improves they always reduce how often I come in (and increase if I have a backslide). What I'm saying is, I know chiropractors have a bad reputation for just wanting your money but that couldn't be farther from the truth at Peterson Chiropractic. The whole team wants the patients to heal above all else. After many years seeking relief for my chronic pain, I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Peterson. I'll also add, I'm a woman with PTSD and can get a little nervous with men providing any kind of bodywork -- you just never know when someone will turn out to be a creep. I thoroughly trust Dr. Peterson and feel at ease with him every time I come in. The admin and billing teams are awesome! They are very friendly and easy to reach (I iMessage with them). We've had miscommunications about billing before and they are always patient about it. Back before COVID they would have little themed parties for holidays and invite patients to join them for snacks in the back room. It was so sweet. (They go all out decorating the office for every holiday.) Billing is a little confusing. I'm out of network but they bill my insurance, which sends me partial reimbursements, and then I give those checks to them. I get some weird explanation of benefits from my insurance saying I owe a lot of money that I don't end up owing? I don't really understand the system but it means that, aside from a $250 deductible at the beginning of the year (payable with FSA), I don't have to pay for anything. This has led to some confusion in the past since I get paid by my insurance and then use that to pay them, and I can see how others might have issues with the system since it's definitely a bit convoluted, but it works for me and means treatment is very affordable. I found Dr. Peterson via a recommendation from a friend and I've sent multiple friends and coworkers his way as well. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
