He was on time, very professional, explained everything very well, listened and allowed for questions, and more questions. He made me feel very comfortable and confident about my surgery.

Cavalier, insensitive, borderline offensive. I can't speak to his surgical skills, but I can say I hope to never speak to him again.

Dr. Stieg and his helpful, cordial and very efficient support staff fit me in surprisingly quickly(with a good referral), in what initially seemed a possibly urgent situation. They went the distance to fit me in and my experience while there was efficient but relaxed and thorough. Dr. Stieg and his clinical staff inspired confidence while conducting a warm, extremely competent consult and personal interaction. Dr. Stieg then made a pretty fantastic referral to another clinician as top notch as himself for further testing that needed to be done and possible treatment. I would/will happily return to him in a flash should I need his expertise again and recommend him and his entire office wholeheartedly for their exceptional care.

When I heard Dr. Steig “wrote the book” on my procedure, I felt comfortable. When the hospital he runs was voted #1 in the world for Neuro Surgery, I felt confident. When I was in and out the hospital in about 48 hours, I was ecstatic. All of this by itself was great but coupled with a team that didn’t talk down to me, was respectful, knowledgeable and professional, and all I can say is bravo. The fact that Dr Stieg is a pretty normal fella and laughed at my jokes (it wasn’t great bedside manner, I’m hilarious), makes me a bit sad that I won’t interact with him as I’ve completed my treatment. But who knows, he said “whatever you need, just call me”. Fair enough..hey Doc, a man walks into a bar… With respect Dave Santaniello

Have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Stieg and his team as they have helped me tremendously with my father. Darcelle did a tremendous job with intake and scheduling, was super responsive and easy to work with, way way better than most experiences I have had in this area. Elaine is an amazing nurse and very responsive to questions and follow up; made use feel like we were being taken very good care of and very important. And Dr. Stieg is all around great - you know you are getting the highest level of care and his interaction with patients is exactly what you would hope for from and advanced doctor. Could not recommend this team more. Thank you!

I booked a 2nd opinion with Dr. Stieg hoping to get answers to symptoms and on going issues I have with my diagnosis of L Occipital Lobe Cavernoma. From the office staff to the professional staff I was treated with kindness and listened to. Dr. Stieg offered insight and explanations that gave me hope and validation. My main reason for coming to New York was to be seen by specialists who deal specifically with Cavernomas. My only regret was waiting so long to come to NY.
