List of Physiofitness Physical Therapy's Reviews
I’ve had so many physios in this city who either don’t care or end up using a Theragun on you for 20mins. These guys are different, especially Stan. Stan is unbelievable. He cares, uses a myriad of techniques and always solves my injury problems. If you’re injured or need help with movement, go here. Amazing spot.
I love Physiofitness and have recommended it to everybody I know who tells me about their pains! My therapist, Joshua Lee, has helped me so much, from his skillful manipulation of my arm to find problem points, to the exercises he gives me to do on location and at home. Most importantly, he asks a lot of questions, to try to pinpoint what I've been doing that might be causing my problem--and to offer solutions. When I talk to other people about the PT they get at other places, they are not getting all the services I get at Physiofitness. Beyond that, the space is sunny and spacious, with lots of equipment, and all the staff is professional and very friendly. Nobody wants to need PT, but if you need it, this is a very welcoming place to go.
Precision diagnostics and care—when you need mysteries solved and will do the work, go here.
Excellent therapists, with one-to-one attention. Very friendly receptionists who are always helpful. The gym is bright, well-equipped and super clean. Overall it's been a great experience recuperating from hip surgery. Thank you James!
Best physio team in nyc
Well organized and great one on one work
Chris is brilliant! He understands the complicated body and is fixing the root of the problem and is caring and professional!!
REASONS FOR HIGHEST LEVEL RECOMMENDATION: the expertise of staff, their kindness and friendliness. The loft itself is a beautifully light-filled space. It’s very well kept. The owner is involved on a daily basis. I've gone to other PT places in the neighborhood and through the hospital in the past and this is my #1 favorite.* Other studios treat patients for only a half and hour, and at most 45 minutes. Here each session lasts an hour. The physical therapist I work with has been getting me better and better week by week. He’s upbeat, positive, always teaching me something new. I feel very fortunate to be working with him and at Physiofitness. Recovering from very extensive spine surgery, as I am, can take more than a year. My treatment at Physiofitness requires work to help new bone and nerves grow from my back to my feet. Plus I am learning how to balance and walk again. Helping folks with all types fo physical issues takes patience and trying different types of approaches. All of the therapists and trainers here continually "up the game" due to each individua'sl needs. Physiofitness treats patients from top elite class runners to folks like me. GOOD LUCK TO ALL IN NEED OF HEALING! *For immediate post-surgery treatment upon leaving the hospital I highly recommend trying to get into RUSK at NYU. It can make a world of difference.
James & Physiofitness were highly recommended to me by my chiropractor. I finally went because I was using a heavy duty knee brace for walking & stairs - I was exhausted using stairs since I had to step down w/1 foot & than join the other foot before taking the next step down. Sooo slow! James said his goal was to get me off that brace & we succeeded! Anyway, I too, highly recommend James & the team at Physiofitness if you need help.
Stan found the solution to a long-term physical limitation/injury that surgeons, doctors and other PT professionals had been unable to resolve.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
