List of Pokala Ravi Kiran's Reviews
I went to consult with the doctor for hemorrhoid surgery. Not only his assistants confused the important data about my health but the doctor, who described my hemorrhoid as severely inflamed, did not recommend any method to bring inflammation down prior to a surgery. Everybody knows that to perform surgery on inflamed tissue is very difficult and can bring bad results.
My K pouch got a hole in it upon surgery and I got sepsis so Dr. Kiran gave me a loop ileostomy—-I told him to take out the K Pouch—-months later Dr. Kiran took out my healthy loop ileostomy instead of the K Pouch and wrote in his report that my healthy ileostomy got damaged during surgery—-now all I have is the K Pouch with a hole in it—-Dr. Kiran will not remove your K Pouch if you have problems with it—-he will let you live and suffer with it—-Dr. Kiran’s K Pouch surgery gave me short bowel.
Don’t get the outdated K-Pouch as it always Leads to a bag and both a K-Pouch & a bag is an embarrassment.
Muy positivo y comunicativo . Gracias Doctor Kiran
Trusted him because he had done a good job a few years ago but last surgery he mutilated my K-pouch valve, moving it to where it is far more likely to leak badly and fail -- no medical reason for this, no explanation in surgical notes and he screamed a lot of lies and nonsense when asked why he did it. Very painful to intubate; tissue adhesions that could have been avoided are painful as well. Most of his valuable staff has quit, including two fantastic specialized nurses. I would advise all to seek care elsewhere.
Trusted him because he had done a good job a few years ago but last surgery he mutilated me, made a mess of a brilliant procedure that his own surgical mentor created for me many years ago. Most of his valuable staff has quit, including two fantastic specialized nurses. I am in agony now and would advise all to seek care elsewhere.
I have a Kock pouch, created in 1972 at Mayo. I was the seventh person in the US to have this revision from a Brook ileostomy. My search for knowledgeable, skilled doctors has always been a challenge. Very few surgeons and gastro physicians are available at this time. Dr. Kiran has proved to be experienced and accomplished with my intestinal and pouch issues. Those of us who’ve had this lifesaving procedure have almost no choices in selecting surgeons, Dr. Kiran has not operated on me yet, but has done a number of procedures. I’ve a great deal of confidence he has the knowledge, skills and experience to give me the best possible care.
Dr Kiran is a life saver. I had a issue with my BCIR valves and a hernia. What he uncovered would smooth all the icing on the cake. The surgeon who did my past surgeries for the BCIR had not only left me with proliferated valves and a hernia but tons of adhesions and scar tissue and a leaking fistula. Needless to say Dr. Kiran wasn’t able to save the canal to the BCIR but with his expertise was able to save the pouch and covert me to a K pouch. What a wonderful save and his talent I’m impressed with. He saved my life and I’m great full for him. I recommend him to all with valve issues as he is a very talented surgeon.
He saved my life with the KPouch.
I am a complicated case and have dealt with many doctors who said they couldn’t help me or made things worse when trying, but Dr. Kiran took me on as a patient without hesitation and was able to help me out.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
