List of Prisca Chen's Reviews
Ok, this post may be a little TMI for some of you, but I just had to share! I went to Prisca as I had been struggling with some digestion issues. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older, but I haven't been as "regular" as I'd like to be. Yes, I'm talking about my bowels. They just felt so sluggish, especially during a certain time of the month. (Ladies, you know what I mean!) I was used to going daily and now suddenly, it's only 2-3 times a week. I'm so glad I finally went in to see Prisca. She was very professional and thorough with her intake, and made me feel comfortable talking about such an embarrassing bodily function. I am very sensitive so she used the thinnest needles on me. I barely felt them go in, but within a few minutes, I felt like things were moving inside me. She finished the session with some awesome abdominal massage, which was a nice plus! I was barely off the treatment table before nature called. I knew acupuncture would help but WOW, I didn't expect it to work that quickly. I had to do a victory dance afterward, lol. Thanks Prisca!
I went to Prisca when I had a weird neck problem for almost three weeks. There was no pain but whenever I turn my head or move my head a certain way I would hear a "click" or lots of "crackling." Not only was that annoying, it was very scary. Prisca did some palpation and asked me about the history, then proceeded to treat me. She doesn't put in a lot of needles and I didn't even feel some of the needles go in. She tracked the condition with me and after two treatments the clicking went away! I was so excited. Prisca is definitely a patient and skilled practitioner. She also makes me comfortable and is always asking me to give her feedback so she could better hone her treatment to my individual needs. Highly recommended!!!
Since coming to see Prisca for help with smoking cessation, I have returned to see her for help with other issues. Mainly, hair loss. As most guys know, there are endless "remedies" and products out there that promise to help stop hair loss or actually regrow hair. After having tried all of the most well-known methods without much success, I surprised to learn that acupuncture can actually treat hair loss quite effectively, without all the "mainstream" shampoos, pills and chemicals. After seeing Prisca regularly about this issue, I can see a significant improvement in my thinning hair line. It is now thicker and fuller, and you can actually see new baby hairs growing in spots that were previously barren. Prisca actually takes pictures of the hairline every session to keep track of progress. And when you actually see the before & after difference so clearly, it's undeniable that her work is actually working! To sum up, if you're a guy, or gal, that is stressed out about thinning/receding hair and don't trust all the commercial products out there, I would suggest giving acupuncture a try.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
