Dr. Simmons is a wonderful doctor. At my initial appointment, she explained everything so clearly and made me feel so comfortable. She is highly knowledgeable, honest and kind. I have the utmost confidence in her.

Was kept waiting 2:15 minutes after scheduled appointment time. When Dr Simmons finally came in she didn’t even apologize AT ALL for the wait time. This was our first appointment after my mom being diagnosed with cancer so as you can imagine emotions were high and the wait time added to the stress. Was told we would have 45 minutes to 60 minutes with the Dr and “Dr. Simmons likes to take her time and not rush anyone and explain everything and answer questions”. We were only seen for 15 minutes (including the physical exam) and she appeared to be in a rush. We weren’t asked if we had questions. No empathy -0-. Downright disrespectful and Inhumane. I trust she is a very talented surgeon as we were referred by another dear friend…Don’t care how talented you are you - there are plenty of talented doctors…you need an extensive course in human relations. If I treated anyone like this in my business I would be out of business and I would deserve it.

I don't usually write reviews but I am so very thankful that Dr. Simmons took my case and performed my 2nd surgery. She is an excellent surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. She made me feel very calm and comfortable. I would highly recommend her.

I was recently diagnosed with Invasive breast cancer and met with Dr. Simmons who provided a thorough explanation of the situation to me and the next steps to be taken. Dr. Simmons is a very knowledgable, experienced surgeon who enabled me to understand the journey I need to take now. Additionally and so importantly, she was very gentle, compassionate, and kind which was very much appreciated by me. I would highly recommend Dr. Simmons.

Dr. Simmons and her entire staff have made my initial diagnosis and the decision about how to treat it something I feel I can cope with. She explained everything in a calm, direct and patient manner. I felt like I could ask her any question I had. I like that she was definitive but not in any way condescending as some doctors can be. I felt like she cares deeply about helping me get the best result possible. In addition, everyone on her staff with whom I have interacted has been fantastic so far. It's early in my journey, but I am extremely comfortable in my decision to select Dr. Simmons as my surgeon.
