It was my first time seeing Dr. Smerd. I had a tele-visit with her because I came down with Covid. I asked Dr. Smerd if I could take Paxlovid. Even though I was up to date on all Vax and boosters, I have issues that make me more susceptible to serious illness due to Covid. She did her due diligence in checking my meds for any contraindications and also confered with my hematologist to make sure it was safe to prescribe. I apprecciated that extra care.

Just had my first visit (video) with Dr Smurd. Found her to be quite knowledgeable and most important a really good listener. This was quite special since she is not my regular primary care physician, just covering for my doctor who was unavailable.

I took my elderly mother to see Dr. Smerd because she was experiencing som pain and our regular doctor was out of the office. Dr. Smerd ordered the appropriate tests and got right back to us with the results. She also referred us to excellent specialists
