This wonderful, highly educated physician was called upon to perform an emergency procedure on me. Without hesitation, she took on my case and saved my life. She has an amazing bedside manner and made herself available to me in the post-procedure days while she was out of town at a conference. I admire her so much and blessed is the patient who can call her their physician. Her specialty is Interventional Gastroenterology and I recommend her without hesitation.

If you're out of network or paying even partially out of pocket be very careful. I spoke with Dr. Shariah in the gastroenterology department and was told incorrect information about the price of the procedure. I ended up paying over $1000 for multiple consultations and took off work to come into the city and had to cancel when I learned that the out of pocket cost would have been over $20000. I tried to be proactive about getting this information and called the office literally dozens of times prior to my appointment date but the communication between the doctors and billing department is awful/nonexistent.
