I went to Reload and worked with Gary Wang for my ACL and double meniscus recovery. Over the course of a little under a year I got back to the gym, normal life, and playing sports again. His experience, advice, and personal touch helped me get to a spot where I didn’t think was possible when starting my recovery. I highly recommend Reload, and working with Gary. Thank you!
Highly recommend ReloadPT. I've been dealing with shoulder and hip pain from a snowboarding incident for about 3 years. I've made more progress in the last 4 months than I've made in the last few years working with other physical therapists.
I cannot recommend Reload Fitness enough! After suffering a tear in my wrist, I was in constant pain with limited mobility. Two orthopedic surgeons told me that surgery was my only option, but Adrienne and Joe offered a different perspective—and I am so grateful they did. While strengthening my wrist was a key focus, they also emphasized improving overall strength, stability, and balance throughout my entire body. Their holistic, well-rounded approach not only addressed my injury but also improved my overall physical health in ways I didn’t expect. The results have far exceeded my expectations. I am now completely pain-free and back to playing golf. Adrienne and Joe’s expertise, encouragement, and commitment to my recovery made all the difference.
Highly recommend Reload and Troy. The best for PT and training. I went to Troy with a left shoulder injury and hoping to avoid surgery. Troy was fantastic in finding a balance between pushing me and building up the muscles in and around the shoulder but not over stressing the injury or making it worse. I had been avoiding using the shoulder and being overly protective and Troy’s approach was exactly what I needed. My shoulder is feeling the best it has felt in years. After 2.5 months working with Troy, I’m now applying his workouts on my own. I would have kept going to him but I moved! Facilities and equipment are awesome. Everyone else who works there is nice and very knowledgeable. A+ experience all around.
I came to Reload after my third ACL reconstruction and meniscus tear. Having tried multiple physical therapy places before, I can confidently recommend Reload as a go-to PT place for this kind of injury. Reload feels more like a gym than a traditional PT clinic, which is perfect for building strength and returning to sports, especially after the very early stages of physical therapy. I have really enjoyed working with Troy Merchel, who not only pushed me during our sessions and answered all my questions but also built a structured workout plan for me to continue on my own throughout the week. We tracked my progress by measuring quad strength using a dynamometer, so progress wasn’t just observable but also supported by data. Every session was focused on pushing forward, but when my knee signaled it was too much, we adjusted and took a step back, allowing for safe yet effective progress. Thanks to Reload and Troy, I’m progressing well and on track to return to sports soon. I can’t thank them enough!
Reload is the best for PT and training! Troy helped me with wrist pain after my doctor recommended physical therapy. When I first came to Reload I was completely avoiding all weight and stress on my left wrist. I really liked Troy’s approach of addressing the injury in a safe way while still pushing me to work the area in order to see results. He helped me set and meet new goals each week ranging from wrist progress to general fitness/training. Troy got me feeling back to normal and back to my everyday routine in just a few months. Before my last session he showed me how to properly plan out a training session on my own. 10/10 no notes!
I had acl reconstruction and a bicep tenodesis the year prior. Following the recommended therapy prescribed by my doctor, I felt that I just wasn’t quite where I wanted to be as an athlete and tennis player. I asked around and a friend referred me to Reload Fitness. I am so happy that I gave Reload a try. From the moment I met Troy, I knew I was in good hands. I’ve been working with him for a little over two months, my fitness and joint health are exceptional. I’ve returned to my athletic pursuits at a level that I thought I would never return. I’m still working with Troy, we’re shooting for new goals and reaching them. If you are having doubts about returning to the sports or everyday activities that you used to do, please give reload a try. And if you don’t know which trainer to work with, ask for Troy! I can assure you that your confidence will return to whatever physical goals you aspire.

The team at Reload is amazing! Training with Marlon (and everyone else, honestly) is great! As someone who was very unfamiliar with gym equipment and never had a personal trainer, I gained a lot of knowledge and confidence in my workouts. Reload will give you the foundation you need to perform better, whether it’s during workouts, sport activities or just everyday life. With their training, support and guidance, not only did I become stronger and more fit, but I was able to overcome any issues I encountered along the way. If you are struggling with a particular issue or just want to work on becoming a better, more fit version of yourself, Reload is the place for you!
I have been a competitive athlete in many sports for several decades now, and once I hit my late 40's I started having injuries in several places. I have needed physical therapy many times since then, and have worked with several facilities in NYC. I have seen it all – the good, the bad, and now Reload, which is taking rehab for me to a whole new level. No other PT place has taken the time that Reload does to watch my workouts, ensure perfect form (which is SO important), check up on me between sessions, and constantly and specifically tweak my exercise routine to ensure the best results. They tell me exactly what to do, and when, and the resulting progress has been amazing. Plus, they don't just work on one injury/area at a time (which every other place did) – they focus on everything that's been injured or weakened at any time, as well as all the other muscles and areas that are all connected, so that when I return to playing my entire body can be involved and the injured areas are not overtaxed or overused (which is what gets us injured in the first place). Their approach is like no other facility, and I have quickly become a convert. Everything they do (and have me do) seems simple, but it all makes sense in the big picture to make me the best and strongest I can be. I will not need to find a new PT place ever again – the doctors/trainers are great, kind, friendly, and so knowledgable, the facility is complete and really nice, everything. And I don't think I'll need PT as much in the future because they are preparing me to be able to play all my sports at the highest level till well into my old age. I've already referred many friends their way, and will continue to do so.
