Dr. DeLuca lacks bedside manner, lacks sensitivity and fails to explain himself clearly. Without going into detail, he and his staff are unprofessional and quick to dismiss a patient’s concerns. I would highly recommend staying clear of Dr. DeLuca and his staff. He just lost two potential patients as my friend had an appointment with him until I told her about my horrible experience with him

First off, the office is chaotic. I had my eyes examined by one person who then brought in another person and they kept shouting numbers to each other. When I finally saw Dr. DeLuca he did an examination but never tested the new prescription that his team had created. I went to have new glasses made and a test proved that the prescription was wrong. I brought this to the attention of Dr. DeLuca's office and they said it was right even though it was entirely different from the prescription of one year ago (eyes don't change that dramatically). They offered to let me have a new examination for free but would not refund my $85 for the exam. I declined because it would cost me $50 in taxis to get to his office. Terrible experience.

Dr DeLuca is The best ophthalmologist in New York!!!! He’s the most knowledgeable and very caring as well. Great support staff!

I became blind in one eye due to a severe cataract. I went to a different eye surgeon but that eye surgeon was not sure how to proceed. When I went to Dr Deluca he informed me that he had two other patients with positive outcomes who had severe cataracts like me. My vision in the eye is great now thanks to God and Dr Deluca. Dr Deluca also helped me in an emergency situation when I had a severe allergic reaction with my face and eyes swelling up tremendously. He was the only doctor who returned my phone calls.

First of all, Dr DeLuca is incredible. However, I have been trying for over three months to get the prescription he recommended for me with no avail. I was first put in touch with Capsul and they couldnt get ahold of anyone in the office, I've now resorted to calling the office nearly every day, with only one successful call. The person I spoke with said they'd call in my prescription to CVS and then CVS called to tell me they needed more information from my doctors office. I am going in circles and it's so frustrating. I was supposed to have a follow up 3 months after my appointment but had to cancel as I haven't been able to even try the prescription. PLEASE can someone get in touch with me and help me get my prescription? I don't know how else to get in touch or what to do. I promise to delete this review is someone just calls me back and helps me solve this issue. Thank you.

If you are having cataracts removed there is no better surgeon than Dr. Deluca. He is extremely competent and efficient, and his office works smoothly.
