Dr. Furman is an incredible doctor. His knowledge of the disease and his patients is amazing. He has time to explain in detail why a certain course of treatment is the right one, or not. But beyond his knowledge and patience, I value most his caring. No phone call or email goes unanswered, and he will spend time with a patient outside of clinic hours. It is not fun to be sick, but once you are- thank God you are under Dr. Furman’s care.

Dr furman has been my hematologist since 2007, he is the absolute best, he is brilliant, empathetic, compassionate and listens to you. He always has the patients best interest in mind. I have recommended him to several acquaintances for treatment and they too agree !

I always feel like I am in a warm environment during my visits with Dr. Furman - no easy task given that the visits are in a hospital setting. Dr. Furman is personable and friendly and I take most comfort that his thoroughness in treating me in my entirety (not just the condition I am seeing him for) leaves me confident with the advice and treatments he recommends. He communicates with person-to-person ease and without any hint of arrogance or a condescending attitude

Dr. Furman is incredibly thorough, ensuring that he understands your entire medical standing, not just what he is treating you for directly. He is friendly, personable and compassionate and one never feels that he/she is being rushed when in his care. Of course, he is a superbly qualified and competent physician above all and I feel totally secure and fortunate to have him as my physician.
