I had been a patient of Dr. Bockman's . I was discharged from Memorial Sloan Kettering and needed to be seen by Dr. Bockman because my thyroid was in terrible condition. I called his office and his secretary asked that I submit medical documentation. I went to his office and handed it to the secretary. I called again and she told me that the documentation was acceptable and I had to "reach out" to Dr. Bockman through the portal. I did and no one ever responded. I had to end up getting a different doctor. When I most needed him, he was not there.

Doesn't connect with you as a real person. Arrogant. He has risen to the top of his field but is narrow in his approach. What he explains is in paragraphs not necessarily connected to what a person takes in. He is great for folks who want to see their doctor as all-knowing. But if you are an educated consumer, he is not your doctor. He is recommended very highly by other doctors as he fits the mold and has risen to the top. I personally didn't find him to be that helpful.

I had a nodule on my parathyroid gland and Dr. Bockman recommended an excellent surgeon to remove it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bockman for many years. He is as lovely, sweet and patient as he is brilliant. He’s thorough and spends time explaining everything and never rushes you out of his office. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor.
