List of Rma Of New York: Eastside's Reviews
This review is for the phlebotomists specifically Sima! They are really all great. I have rolling veins and they almost always got my vein on the first try. Bloodwork has always been stressful for me because people say I’m a hard stick so I’m grateful the practice has such talented people drawing blood to make an unpleasant experience more bearable
It’s hard to put into words what RMA of New York: Eastside means to our family. After years on our fertility journey, they made it possible for us to welcome our beautiful son, Leo, into the world. We will forever be grateful for the compassion, expertise, and unwavering support we received every step of the way. Dr. Brauer is truly exceptional. She goes above and beyond for her patients—taking the time to explain every option, every decision, and every part of the process with clarity and kindness. She guided us through each stage of our journey, including our transfer, with such genuine care. What meant even more is that she stayed in contact after Leo was born, celebrating alongside us. None of this would have been possible without her steady presence and dedication. We also want to recognize Melissa Goldner, Brianna Katz, and the entire RMA of NY Third Party team. Their professionalism and warmth carried us through the harder moments, and their belief in our dream of becoming parents never wavered. Even when the process took years, the whole team held onto the vision with us—and helped us hold onto it too. We owe them so much more than a five-star review. We owe them our son, our joy, and the life we have now. If you shed a tear reading this, know that they helped create countless stories like ours—and we hope yours is next.
Completely disorganized, sloppy and unreliable. Had to switch to NYU Langone who was utterly fantastic. Don’t waste your time with this place. It’s painful.
I'm a gynecologist myself and my wife is a physician. We had care through this office and I would be humiliated if my patients had to deal with this level of disorganization. This practice was almost impossible to navigate despite our high level of health literacy. You can't get a hold of anyone in a timely manner, no one you get to talk to has a clue how to help, plans are never laid out and will change depending on who you speak to, paperwork and forms just come out of nowhere and have to be filled in emergently. One example of an issue is that they had my birthday incorrect in their system, and so i couldn't co-sign a necessary DocuSign document. It took a month and 10 emails for them to fix it so that I could sign something and we could move on with the plan. In another example, they continued to charge us for storage for eggs after they were used.
5 stars +++ for Dr Romanski. He is the kindest and most compassionate, extremely personable and went through great lengths to help me on my journey (I have endometriosis). I can’t recommend him enough. He and his team made my experience at RMA
I met with Dr. Romansky and could tell from our first meeting that he truly loved helping women like me on their fertility journey. He never once said I was a high risk pregnancy even though I was 46 yrs old. I really appreciated his positive outlook. I had frozen my eggs at New Hope Fertility at 42 yrs old and due to my insurance changing I had to switch to in network Drs. and RMA was one of them. There was a lot of paper work to sign for me and my partner but once that was completed it was straight to business. RMA created 4 embryos out of 8 frozen eggs. Out of 4 embryos only one was as they said "perfect and really strong". Long story short I now I have my 3 month perfectly healthy baby girl. All of the Drs and nurses were lovely. I am so grateful to them. I wish you luck on your fertility journey!
I am giving it 3 stars because I loved my doctor and the nurses. I had a bad experience with a anesthesiologist as I woke up before the entire egg retrieval was over. Dr.was putting a speculum in when I woke up. It was the end of the procedure but still. I should have sued and still might. And the billing issue. I am on the phone with someone who is telling me my insurance has not returned their request for payment since February. Um I am not paying for anything they did not request payment for when they were supposed to. Furthermore they had the friking nerve to send me a threatening letter for collections when I never received a bill. Everytime I had a service done, I asked what I owed so it does not pile up. They said nothing or just my copayment. This lady on the phone said they were not able to send statements out for the first quarter. Why the hell not? Is that my fault? And now you are asking for 600$ over the phone because I called about the threatening of collections. I am not just giving you 600$ without knowing what it is for? Then she said well I had the option of calling every month to find out if I had a balance. Excuse me? Absolutely not. I asked in person when I recieved the service. I also have an account with RMA. Nothing there but 88$, which I am asking about as well. I kept reading the reviews and had not had an issue and was like no, not RMA. But with the exception of my doctor, the entire operation is the pits. I am not paying for worker error. Tell the workers to pay the outstanding balances they submitted late for. This is not my debt. I paid everythjng in full that I was told I was responsible for. I am so disgusted and angry. And I was on hold for 30 minutes before I got someone on the phone in finance/customer service because apparently they are both and now I have been on the phone for 15 minutes while she said she would generate an itemized bill. Um why do I have to be on hold for that?Hopefully she comes back to the phone and did not leave me hanging because I expressed my anger. I am quite disgusted with RMA. I am not sure what I am still.payi g for since I did not have any outstanding bills in my 3 egg retrieval. It was not until I had an embryo transfer that amounted to a failed pregnancy that these issues started. Get it together RMANY eastside.
From the onset of my beginning communication with RMA to each person upon arrival, the staff and doctors at RMA were wonderful. They have gone the extra mile to communicate with me as an outside appointment, share parking information, make me feel comfortable and easily and happily satisfy my medical needs all with a smile on their face and happiness in their emotion. I have had an amazing experience and recommend anyone to work with them. Thank you!!!
I've been a customer since 2017 and have ongoing billing as part of treatment. It was seven full years before I received a bill on time. Regardless of whether I gave email, correct address for mailing, called directly, the ability of RMA to set up consistent billing has shown me time and again that this business is one I would never trust with my treatment today. The frequency with which I have to reach out to them to ask questions is staggering considering I have not visited their offices in over 8 years. Every time I connect with them I receive a reply that shows nobody has actually read my inquiry. They have four different billing portals. Ask them which portal you need to use your bill and they send you a link to all 4 of the different portals without providing explanation. If I were starting treatment over today, I would under no circumstance consider this business. They engaged in multiple shady practices related to my initial treatment in 2017 and used this to have me pay thousands extra upfront. In the eight ensuing years they have been nothing but a headache to deal with. Communication is poor. The billing department is the most frustrating I've ever dealt with. I do not recommend this business.
The facility staff and the facility itself are great but their operators who setup appointments are misinformed. I was told by multiple people over the phone that this site does not have collection rooms. For anyone making an appointment, please know that they do so you do not need to purchase anything on your own or rush to get to the facility in a short amount of time as everything can be done at your appointment time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
