List of Robert B. Snow's Reviews
To start, Dr. Snow took me right on time for my appointment. He explained everything to me so I could easy understand it. He also laid out my care plans. I would recommend him to someone else
Exceptional professionalism on the part of Dr Snow and the entire staff. Plus a pleasure to interact with
Dr Snow is a true professional and this is the second surgery I am having with him. His staff is exemplary and on top of their game
I’ve had two surgeries with Dr Snow and I find him to be a true professional and certainly knowledgeable. He won’t suggest anything that is not necessary
Dr. Snow and the staff at Cornell were professional and did a fantastic job with my laminectomy. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Very thorough and conservative. Doesn’t push you to get surgeries that are not worth the risk. A doctor you can trust.
Dr. Snow has now become my entire families Neuro Dr. I’ve received two Surgeries both which were life changing! I can’t say enough GREAT things about Dr. Snow
In 1996 I had 2herniated discs.I visited Robert Snow who recommended a microdicetomy to put the discs back in place because it was causing much pain .By the way I am Amy Golumbek, the patient at the time.Physicsl therapy did not seem to work.I got a second opinion at the very same hospital and DrGamash recommed more physical therapy and another test to see if a microdicetomy was the correct way to go.He said after reviewing the MRI I don't know that you are a surgical candidate. My internist at the time referred me to Snow, and after asking 30 questions about this surgery, and the most important question being what is the chance I could get worse from surgery. He replied ,less than 1percent.That answer made the operation that was fairly routine sound safe.I decided to go with DrSnow who empathized physical therapy was not working and would NEVER work in his opinion.Well several days after returning home from the surgery all went wrong. The morphine wore off and I knew something was VERY wrong.I could not walk , jumping out of my skin from horrific pain, even on 2narcitics.My entire body as a pain dr described was on Fire.Going from Dr to Dr no one could help and the pain was unbearable. Finally,I was referred to a different Physical therapist. She saw how scared I was and unbearable pain barely walking with a cane on ten Percocet daily and a second pain killer becoming an addict.I saw her twice weekly and did excercizers twice daily for one year ,And I had to withdraw from the narcotics which was VERY painful.DrSnow said my body reacted poorly from the surgery, blaming me,avoided all my calls only saw him one time after the surgery. He wanted me to disappear because he made a major mistake. My physical therapist stuck by me and within a year with very hard work together I was walking again and getting off the narcotics. At the end of that year myPT said ,I didn't know if you would ever walk again II wanted to sue him , however, did not get the support I needed to do that.I wanted to walk again.Dr.Snow lied and wrote notes in my record that I screamed at him once , to appear I was not in my right mind.My PT stood by me, believed in me and God bless her for her total commitment. As far as Snow goes its hit and miss with him.Look up his record of a79M Dollar lawsuit against Cornell Weil hospital and the surgeon Dr Snow whoI performed the surgery and the boy died.In addition read Heather van Wolf's story of her surgery performed by Snow.
Left me with a lifetime of chronic pain after a failed back surgery for an L5S1 herniated disc. Told me that I'd be recovered in 8 weeks and that never happened. I ended up in more pain from the surgery than I had before. Chronic low back spine pain that left me disabled since the late 1980's when he did my surgery.
Dr Snow Thank you saving my mobility and my life. I wa paralyzed from the NECK down After emergency surgery on a Saturday morning at 8 AM it took Dr. Snow three hours and when I awaken from recovery I had mobility again. Thank you so much Dr. Snow. FIVE STARS

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
