Saw Dr. Friedman for consultation regarding an eye issue I have had for several months and which has gone undiagnosed by several ophthalmologists. Dr. Friedman listened, examined and figured out what is wrong. He also helped me to undestand the issue. I am much better and I am confident that I will continue to improvement. Highly recommend.

Outstanding. Knowledgeable, kind, caring and a great surgeon. First saw him to fix my eye that had been bitched by another ophthalmologist and then operated on my other eye. Amazing.

The worst of the worst. First, know I am a physician, granted not in his field but I know a bad doctor when I experience one. I went to several physicians for cataracts prior to deciding on Dr. Friedman. I had previous eye surgery and he assured me he had dealt with that in the past. He recommended a multifocal lens which cost $8000 extra which I stupidly paid thinking he knew what he was talking about. His final words were: "if you don't like this lens I will replace it free of charge" I wish I had done more research because realistically this is not a good option for someone who has had previous surgery. Long story short, went back to see him several times, he couldn't remember which eye I had done let alone what lens he put in. My vision is horrible, the flashes/dashes at night are debilitating, the pain in my eye excruciating and I spend my days being seen by all kinds of eye specialists. Everyone agrees it was the wrong lens and that it is highly risky to replace it at this point. I can't even get my vision corrected because of this lens. I have asked for my records for months, no reply, asked for a refund, no reply but rather sent a bill for services. Don't trust what he says, go elsewhere!

Not as good as advertised. Needed lots of laser work after surgery, and he was very defensive about my poor outcome. In fact, he charged me double the normal price for cataract surgery, and would have cost me a lot more to fix things without insurance.
