When I was told I needed bypass surgery I got hysterical when Kim the doctors nurse practitioner walked in my room she touched my knee & I stopped crying when Dr. Varghese walked in a halo was around him all my fear left me he was a God sent!!!! I wish I could use him as my primary care doctor.

Dr. Varghese and his team were wonderful. I went through coronary artery bypass without any problems. His bedside manner was excellent as well as his team. He was always available for any questions I had in my recovery. Fantastic doctor as well as a person who actually cares about his patients.

Dr. Varghese is an exceptionally skilled surgeon and a family-oriented, deeply compassionate doctor. He allayed fears without glossing over the risks of my complex surgery. I felt listened to and respected. Dr. Varghese really sees his patients as complex human beings -- not just as complex cardiac systems. Many skilled surgeons are not great at the "bedside manner" person-to-person interactions -- but Dr. Varghese manages to be wonderfully adept at both surgery (thank goodness!) and at being a humane doctor. He is truly an exceptional surgeon and a humane healer.

I had a triple bypass and aortic replacement on August 1st. Dr. Varghese was so wonderful. Explained everything so I was very assured going into surgery. He is amazing!

We knew that my dad had blockages after a calcium score test. It was a bad day for my mom and dad when they were told that he had three blockages all above ninety percent. As per my parents the day quickly became better when Dr. Varghese walked in and introduced himself. That day they had no information about him or his specialty. He made them feel very comfortable and at ease. My father and mom made the decision that he was going to perform heart bypass surgery on him, looking back it was the best decision they ever made! Dr. Varghese is a very skillful and innovative heart surgeon. Dr. Varghese has the best bedside manners I have ever seen. He made us feel very comfortable and spent time with us as if we were his only patients. My father ended up having a quintuplet bypass surgery in June 2022. After surgery, Dr. Varghese was very attentive and concerned and if he was not there a member of his team was at the bedside with the same matching qualities. My father was discharged after a five day stay in the hospital. Thanks to Dr. Varghese and the wonderful team my parents were able to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary! Bless you and your team for your dedication. Dr. Varghese is a terrific heart surgeon. He connects with his patients and family members. He uses his expertise and skillfulness to correct the problems. We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing heart surgery! My mom who was an intensive care nurse for more than 30 years cannot stop praising him. Thanks Dr. Varghese one more precious life saved!

Dr. Varghese performed a minimally invasive reoperative tricuspid valve replacement on my Mother a month Ago at Mount Sinai in Manhattan NY. From our initial consultation I knew that my mother was going to be in good hands. His body language, they way he introduced himself said a lot about how much he cares for people wellbeing. I felt very much at ease ,extremely confortable. I am 100 &10% satisfied with Dr. Varghese and his team. My mother situation was very complex. Dr. Varghese did everything in his power to help her. Dr. Varghese and his team was so patient, so kind and ready to answer all of my questions and concerns.I have never been experienced something like that in a long time. That gave me HOPE that there is still some wonderful humains being in this world. I was amazed by his knowledge, understanding, compassion and attentiveness. You can tell that he is a man of God. My mother was extremely happy about the care that she received from Dr. Varghese and his team.

Dr. Varghese is not only an exceptional surgeon but an amazing human being as well. He is everything you want in a doctor and then some. He is talented, knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, comforting, attentive, has a good sense of humor and very caring. Not only is Dr. Varghese wonderful but also his staff especially Kimberly R., NP & his office assistant Amanda. Dr. Varghese performed quadruple bypass on our mother and although we met Dr. Varghese unexpectedly we are so happy that God put her in Dr. Varghese's extremely capable hands. Again, Dr. Varghese is AMAZING. He is not only great with his patient but with the family as well. He answered everyone's questions and concerns and put us all at ease. He was caring and comforting to all of us: before, during, and after surgery. Dr. Varghese should teach how doctors should act towards their patients and what good bedside manners consist of. We would recommend Dr. Varghese to anyone and everyone who needs his expertise.
