Roshney Jacob-Issac, Md's Online Review Report Card

I saw this doctor maybe 4 years ago and I think of her often, that’s how horrible she was and how angry it still makes me. Post long covid, I was having fevers of unknown origin and extreme fatigue accompanied with chronic illness- passed from specialist to specialist. This specialist told me I was having fevers because of my weight…even though I’d never had them before and had been this size prior to when the fevers began. She looked at me and my BMI and instead of actually trying to help me and find the cause of my symptoms and insulin resistance at a young age, she took me off of a medicine that I needed to be on, explained what dieting was and told me to avoid peas and carrots because they’re high in sugar. Guess what, nobody gets fat from peas and carrots. And it’s not actually about “the will power to diet”…every fat person you have seen has tried every diet out there… and it’s messed up their metabolism. And on that note, I saw a doctor who actually listened and saw beyond my fat to what my actual issue was and a year later I am completely fine, no fatigue, and guess what— have lost significant weight because GASP weight was a side effect of something else. I would implore this doctor to read The Metabolic Storm by Dr. Emily Cooper, and to give a lot more thought and a holistic systems approach to when she’s treating patients. Especially patients in a bigger body.

Dr Jacob Issac is knowledgeable, thorough and thoughtful . She’s a good listener and spelled things out for me and educated me in a very comprehensive and easy manner . I highly recommend her

She is the best, totally got me on the right track.

She is the best doctor for diabetics managment. I have been guided by her how to best manage the diabetics. I am seventy now and still my diabetics is under full control following her advice and guidance. I am so grateful to her.

She is the epitome of what a endocrinologist should be. For the short time I was blessed to have her as my specialist, she did everything in her power to make sure my needs as a patient were met and they were. I hope that some day I could find another endocrinologist as good as her. Happy for her though that she moved to NY and fulfilled her wishes.

I still miss Dr Jacobs. She was the best Dr I ever had. Not only told you what needed to be done but why. Wish she would move back to Massachusetts.

Amazing doctor. I've been seeing her for over a year now and now she's also treating my younger sister. Dr Issac-Jacob is very detailed and on point. Care about her patients needs and concerns.

Great doctor- pays attention to details, friendly, listens to your concern. Couldn't be more happy that I found her after being miss-diagnosed and dismissed by so many doctors.

She was thorough, thoughtful, open to questions and comfortable to talk to talk to. When I questioned something, she took the time to draw a diagram and make sure I understood what she was describing. There was almost no waiting time.

I have not had the pleasure of having such a collaborative discussion. She is professional, clear, direct, up to date - and delivers all of this with compassion and empathy.
