TERRIBLE! Waste of a copay. Don’t go to him. Truly! Bedside manner-ZERO! My condition is horrific dry eye which is NOT his specialty. But never told that. Staff SO RUDE! Ended up telling me to get over the counter drops! WHAT??? I’ve used everything and I do t need that bull. I don’t need a OTHAMOLOGIST OR ANYONE ELSE TO ADVISE ME WHAT IS COMMON SENSE! No diagnosis given, and has the nerve to say “COME BACK IN A MONTH”. I’m in chronic severe pain.. god help me and I think it’s incurable. Plus another heath condition. “C”! I’m in hell! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!??????????????????????

I visited Brodie today. I had no insurance. There was a girl student there from NYU, whom with he was examining my eyes. I had no privacy, no opportunity to express myself. I got no recommendations except to visit him in one month. When I went to pay for this visit, I had to pay $203 to this doctor after discount (regular price $675) plus $174 for 2 pictures of my eyes (regular price $580). So-called "regular"prices were skyrocketing, and even discounted prices was higher than those if I had the same visit to a prestigious doctor in a private clinic on the middle of Manhattan in NYC, who would not interrupt the examination process by constant communication to a medical student. Very bad! I feel that I need a doctor. I learned only about my diagnosis, nothing else.

Dr Brodie has trouble seeing. He was unable to see dirt and damage on the lenses he was using to diagnose. He also smeared and smudged my glasses with his hand grease and told me they were cleaner than they'd been all year. He made several more disparaging comments. The chair was not set for my height to see the eye chart, so I had difficulty reading it without hunching over uncomfortably. He was unable or unwilling to adjust the chair or the eye chart so that it was visible from the chair.
