Dr. Kim, is an excellent endocrinologist. He addresses all your questions and concerns, always explaining in complete detail . Dr. Kim also gives advice on options and ideas to better improve your health and how to get the most benefits from your medications. He's also very attentive and understanding during the visit. Any refills that are needed can be filled quickly just by contacting his office his staff are great, or by sending a message through MyChart. Also very accommodating for scheduling. I've been his patient for over 3 years. Truly a Professional and a Doctor that I highly recommend. A ++++.

This doctor is inept. Rushed me out the door despite my claims that my medication was off. I had been having serious anxiety issues, turns out my medication was way too high for my weight and bloodwork levels- despite him saying to leave it alone. He did not listen to my symptoms or concerns. More importantly I went for Type 2 Diabetes, clearly this is a very serious condition and requires constant medication. I come to find out that he didn't put this in my file, there is no history of anything beyond "slow" thyroid in my chart (I have hashimotos). The lack of information in my chart and the incorrect paperwork sent to my insurance company based on his "notes" (or lack there of) set off a series of serious events with my medications and insurance coverage that I could not undo, this cost me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. I called his office over ten times, messaged him over six in the patient portal, talked to client services, talked to anyone I could at his office in Union Square (Mt. Sinai). No one ever got back to me. This doctor and his office did not care what I had to say, did not listen to me, did not help me. They caused me distress and high our of pocket expenses. Do not see this Dr or go to this office- they did more harm then good. I'm surprised how many people felt this type of behavior is acceptable.
