After our healthy son in 2010, we returned and paid premium for PGD to screen every embryo for genetic disease. Only one girl embryo. Dr. T pushed transferring two despite our tears and clear fears about twins--"less than 2% chance both take." Both took. Our twin son was born broken. Diagnosed 2015 with CTNNB1 haploinsufficiency--severe cerebral palsy, non-verbal, wheelchair-bound for life. The genetic condition their PGD was supposed to catch. Zero follow-up, zero contact. Multiple desperate emails over 12+ years to Dr. Geoffrey Sher and Manhattan office--never a single reply or "we're sorry." Only one girl embryo. Dr. pushed transferring two despite our tears and clear fears about twins—“less than 2% chance both take.” Both took. Our twin son was born broken. I appreciated the consultation and all the information he presented. However, I did not appreciate him telling me certain procedures would be mandated, irregardless of my personal convictions. He also refused to work with me on blood work, when I had already done half the blood work he was recommending. Poor bedside manner and will not be working with him.

I can’t thank Dr T and the entire team at Sher Fertility for the amazing work they do. My IVF journey with them was very successful and I now have a beautiful and healthy baby girl!

After a long infertility journey at two other clinics, I ended up at Sher fertility under the care of Dr. T. In the past, communicating with my doctor felt much like trying to speak with the great and powerful OZ. With Dr. T, I had the opposite experience. He was always available, thoughtful and prompt with responding and I always felt cared for in a profound way. Not only was my experience with this clinic so different regarding communication, I also had much better results! Dr. T’s protocol for DOR inspired so much confidence and was so thorough, I never felt I needed to advocate for protocol tweaks or add-ons. That being said, when I wanted to try something, he was open to hearing me out and would oblige if it made sense for my specific case. After never seeing a positive pregnancy test in 3.5 years of trying (naturally and through ivf), I finally got mine and am pregnant with my first child. Thank you Dr. T for your time, care and never ending patience. I am forever grateful to you and your amazing team at Sher fertility. ❤️

To begin with a Patti will be there throughout your journey, supporting you and cheering you and creating resources for you and Dr Sher‘s valuable experience will tell you the right path to follow and then when you finally reach the clinic part, you will find amazing doctors like Dr Ravi Kumar and Dr. T and their amazing team of nurses who will support you and cheer you and will be there every minute of the day to answer any questions you have you just have to trust them and keep going and they will push you for you for the best result, I recommend everyone who is scared of IVF to consult them once and follow them. You will not regret your decision.

The meeting with the doctor was very informative. I learned a lot . I would recommend anyone looking to have a consultation and get a really good through fertility doctor experience . I wish I was not so far away from the clinic to use them but the information given . Gave me something to talk to my own doctor about .

This institute is no less than a miracle. Doctors here are very kind very compassionate specially Dr Ravi Kumar who listens to you and helps you with the best protocol without even judging you if you want results with the best care then this is the right place trust blindly these people are meant to help you

I’ve been very happy with Dr. T and the nurses - Natasha, Bushra and now Sherry that I’ve worked with so far. The communication between the team is outstanding. My first cycle yielded promising results and hope my future cycles and transfers will as well! Local monitoring is very manageable too if you aren’t close to Sher.

I met with Dr. Tortoriello who was very informative and helpful in discussing my options as a woman of advanced maternal age. I haven't proceeded as of yet but the consultation in my opinion was worth it. Thank you Amanda S.
