Dr. Silverberg is very attentive and obviously very knowledgable. I haven't paid anything more than a copay for my visits - the cost of your visit depends on your insurance coverage and I don't think should be a reflection of Dr. Silverberg. I will be traveling 7+ hours once a year to continue to see her.

My preference is to not write reviews, but this one is prompted by the other user, who gave 2 stars to this exceptionally outstanding medical expert. My opinion is not based on my liking or disliking of her office staff, which was by the way professional and good to me and others during my appointments. Rather, my observation is that Dr. Silverberg has very deep knowledge and understanding of not only the primary medical field she specialized in (endocrinology), but also the related branches. This impression was based on her consideration of how our genetic code affects our susceptibility to certain medical conditions - I strongly believe that is quite important for proper diagnostics and treatment. The users who read this review might find noteworthy that my choice of endocrinologist was an outcome of a comprehensive search to find a top expert in the field. After seeing a couple of other endocrinologists (also quite good, perhaps just not as good) and my fortunate curiosity to seek a second (or even third) opinion and help of an executive medical referral service, Dr. Silverberg came up as the highest recommended, at least in this part of US - if you need medical help in this field, you might see why that is the case even during your first appointment with her.

Fantastic experience. I went there for a 2nd opinion and found that she really thought outside the box to give advice that others hadn't.

She gives you the time. doesn't rush you and is well mannered and understanding. very professional. scheduling there is difficult. You will pay a ton of money for an appointment so come with a pile of cash. The office staff needs some training in manners.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! STAY AWAY FROM DR. SHONNIE AND HER ASST. MELANIE CHANDRA. NOT PERSONABLE OR FRIENDLY. EVERYTIME YOU CALL THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE BOTHERING THEM. ONCE SHE SEES YOU SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW UP WITH PROPER MEDICATION OR INSTRUCTIONS. OVERALL WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
