Dr. Mehta has been extremely helpful in managing my parent’s ailments. She is thoughtful and thorough and genuine in her care. The Center for Aging at NYP is a place I would recommend.

Dr. Mehta is my mom’s primary doctor. She is incredibly smart, thorough and kind. I find her to be a great communicator and very accessible. I very much recommend her!

awful , terrible NO compassion- no bedside manner .When she talked to me on the phone about my mother i was shocked. I am disabled and have been going to doctors for many years and never heard a doctor with no empathy like this. We tried to change to another doctor at wright center and they refused so we are sending my mom to another doctor. She has a lot to learn. And you cant be taught empathy but at least learn how to talk to family about a patient as well as the patient. Update after a year. We have found a wonderful compassionate heart doctor- two of them for my mom-

Dr Mehta (substitute) is inept Being misdiagnosed, went to Emerency had serious blood infection if untreated can cause death. She ignored my symptoms

My elderly mother went to see this doctor and told me she never met such an uncaring woman. I called to see what she was talking about. I was shocked at the way Dr. Mehta talked to me . She was unsympathetic about the death of my father and my moms husband a year ago. She told me my mom had psychological issues and when i asked what she meant she said well she is nervous around me and talks fast. huh? Honestly when i talked to dr mehta i too felt anxious and upset. The woman should not be a geriatric doctor. We asked for a change of doctors which the center refused. I will not take my mom to a compassionate dr. at Mt. Sinai. If someone has a closed heart they should not be a healer. Healer heal thyself.
