List of Srilaxmi Bearelly's Reviews
I was referred to Dr. Bearelly for treatment for proliferative diabetic retinopathy. She recommended laser treatment to stop the growth of abnormal blood vessels. Although I was nervous, I am so happy I did it. Dr. Bearelly was calm and reassuring throughout the whole process, and is very sensitive to patient concerns. She patiently answered all of my (many) questions. Now, nearly two years later, my vision is still 20/20, with no new abnormal blood vessel growth or bleeding. I would highly recommend Dr. Bearelly to anyone who has diabetic retinopathy and wants to proactively preserve their full vision.
My eye doctor, an MD, suggested that I seek consultation from a retina specialist. I'm an elderly gent with diabetes. This was the most complete eye exam that I ever had; the care provided by Sri Bearelly, M.D. was exceptional.
Shortly before my annual optometry visit, I noticed a thin black object occasionally in my visual field. The OD recommended that I visit a "retina specialist" due to a "floater". It was easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sri Bearelly at Columbia University. (There was virtually no reception from reception staff despite two workers sitting at the University desk.) The doctor's competence and demeanor made up for this! I felt that I received an excellent exam, followed by input of findings and then of recommendations. I'm highly recommending her. P.S. The Columbia Harkness Eye Clinic was a very short distance from the street, making it easily located.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
