Words cannot fully describe how fantastic Dr. Bharam and his staff are. During jiu-jitsu class, my left hamstring completely tore from my hip (retracted 11.8cm). I was in a tremendous amount of pain and discomfort for over two weeks. An orthopedist referred me to Dr. Bharam, so I saw him two weeks after my injury. Dr. Bharam saw how severe my injury was and made time in his busy schedule to reattach my hamstring (via suture anchors) two days later. Although I was a bit worried to undergo my first serious surgery, I knew I was in good hands. I am writing this review two weeks after my surgery and feel so much better. Dr. Bharam referred me to Kevin Kay for my post-operation physical therapy as well which has been going very well. I highly recommend Dr. Bharam to anyone with hip issues. I especially appreciated how quickly and effectively he treated my hip. I am fairly active, so I am glad that he put me back on track to do all the activities I enjoy (e.g. martial arts, dance, strength training).

Immediately after my surgery my pain level reduced a great deal! The only pain I felt was from the actual procedure the day prior. But this was due to the help of Dr. Srino Bharam and his professional staff. I felt like I was in the safe and experienced hands of professionals that understood my condition fully; and moved swiftly to help me get pain free.Dr. Bharam does an amazing job of explaining each step of the process. Surgery in itself is a scary thing to go through, but it helps immensely knowing you have a highly skilled surgeon performing the procedure.Unfortunately I do not possess the words to sufficiently express my overwhelming gratitude to him and his staff for their hard work!!! I injured myself playing soccer and was told dr Bharam is the best hip specialist in New York (read: world). To my surprise, doctor agreed to see me almost instantly, no typical multi-week wait as it is usually the case with big city specialists.From the first appointment, surgery itself and all post-op period I have encountered nothing but high level professionalism and a very precise attention to details. He doesnt just follow the regular protocol, he is actually very involved with treatment. He analyzes how you walk, doesnt rush with the exams, takes time to talk to you. Listens. What is also important - he hears you too. My objective wasnt to just start walking and working again, I wanted to play sports again. And when I told him that, it had became one of his objectives too.What I also felt while being a patient of dr Bharam is if I was a celebrity athlete or a NASA pilot. I felt that I am not just another patient on the schedule, but I am the patient doctor is having a mission to treat and recover. And for that, all I could to thank him - is to leave this short review for others to know. His attitude to my treatment made me to take it more serious too, and recover smoother and faster.Ps. His surgery assistant Dahae definitely deserves a word too. Aside from sweetest voice over the phone, she will spend hours and walk miles to get you scheduled and ready for the surgery. What a grade!

As a competitive distance runner I came to Dr Bharam for hip pain. His thoughtful approach and respect for any and all questions I had immediately put me at ease. He knew exactly how to proceed with my injury and explained in detail what my recovery would be like and how fast he could get me back to running. Dr Bharam performed a recent hip arthroscopy on me and the experience was exceptionally positive from start to finish! The scheduling of my initial consultation, pre-op imaging and the the surgery itself was extremely timely; Dr Bharam was very patient, clear and thorough with his explanation of my medical issues and the plans to correct them; his office staff (thank you, Dahae and Lauren!) were so helpful with regard to sorting out insurance and prescription issues, providing me with detailed pre- and post-op information, and addressing my myriad questions; the procedure itself went very smoothly; and the post-op experience has paralleled the expectations that Dr Bharam set with me. Patients are in MOST EXCELLENT hands with Dr Bharam and his kind and capable team - I wish there were more than five stars to give them!

I am so grateful to have been referred to Dr Bharam. I recently had hip surgery with Dr Bharam it took me many months to make that decision.  Dr bharam was so caring, thorough, patient, and honest with me, and helped me make my decision. He took the conservative route first with physical therapy and diagnostic injections. I spoke to him on the phone, met with him in person and on zoom, as much as I needed.  He was always available to help me get clarity.  His nurse Taylor is such a special, nice, caring and friendly person, she shows compassion to the patients. Once I scheduled the surgery I was in touch with Dahae a lot, the nicest surgical coordinator, she made the whole process from to start to finish easy and stress free. And the receptionist that schedules appointments was always so nice as well.  It is 2 weeks since my surgery and I'm healing well, looking forward to a full recovery. Thank you Dr Bharam and staff!

I am incredibly grateful that I was referred to Dr. Bharam within weeks of my injury. Time was critical in the repair of my hamstring and Dr. Bharam and his staff worked hard to fit me in the following week. Not many orthopedic surgeons are as skilled and experienced in soft tissue repair of the hip and groin area as Dr. Bharam and his associates. I am 16 days PO and on the road to recovery. If you are injured and are unsure of where to place your trust, you can feel confident that you will be in good hands with Dr. Bharam.

Dr. Bharam is tremendous - I had a horrific sports related injury that almost nobody in the city (or the entire east coast to my knowledge) could help with. I was lucky to find a doctor who knew Dr. Bharam. He and his wonderful team very promptly got me in to their office (and he facetimed me the first day he got my referral to check in with me) and we determined a surgery was required. It would be my first, and Dr. Bharam was so great with making me feel confident in the procedure and getting me prepared for the big day. On the day of, he was comforting, prompt and (although I was out of it) he did a stellar job. Post surgery, he has seen me multiple times and taken my calls when needed. His staff is kind and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a hip/groin expert, and anything else he may be able to work with.

I was dealing with intense pain after working out, and then it continued to be all the time.I was recommended to see Dr Bharam.HIs staff, office and associates were amazing.I felt I was there only patient. They all took the time to reach out to me, and see my progressI was amazed he pointed out exactly was was going on in my hip and explained what his procedure was to deal with my issue.Upon scheduling my surgical procedure, I was given all pre op and post surgical information. It was extremely detailed, and helpful to the expectations associated with the procedure.After my hip anthroscopy surgery, my pain disappeared. I was up walking around within 24 hours and I am really amazed how precise the surgery was.Its a miracle to me, to not to be pain.
