This was honestly the best eye doctor experience I’ve ever had. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel really comfortable during the exam. The staff was so kind and welcoming, which made the whole visit stress-free. I left feeling confident about my prescription and well cared for. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this office.

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a medical visit. The doctor made my daughter feel completely at ease and explained her prescription in a way she could easily understand. Yolanda, the technician, was absolutely wonderful—so kind, patient, and attentive. She truly made our first visit unforgettable. The entire process was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

Stay FAR AWAY from this place! I’ve visited this place twice in the past for my annual checkups and had a profile on file with them. Over the past two years, I was bombarded with emails, texts, and phone calls reminding me to schedule my annual appointment with Dr. Werner. After finally booking it, I thought I was good to go. Little did I know, I was wasting my time. When I arrived, the receptionist casually asked what insurance I had. I said VSP, and she responded with, “Oh, Dr. Werner doesn’t work with VSP anymore. Do you want to cancel your appointment?” Seriously?! Instead of spamming me with nonstop reminders, maybe send a useful email or text saying Dr. Werner doesn’t accept my insurance anymore! I should have listened to all the bad reviews others have left, but the only reason I stuck with this place was their after-hours appointments on Wednesdays. Big mistake. Complete lack of communication and total disregard for patients’ time. If you value your time and sanity, avoid this place!

I had eye laser surgery here 11 years ago. I am so happy and greatful I found the right doctors for the job. My experience here have been wonderful. Great staff and amazing doctors. Thanks to Dr. Chen I no longer need glasses. Highly recommended.

As a former nurse in ophthalmology, I strongly suggest this practice! Dr. Chang performed PRK on my left eye and LASIK on my right eye. This was a few years ago and I still see absolutely perfectly. I have never seen so clearly and it was the best thing I’ve ever done for my health. As an athlete and a coach, it made a HUGE difference! The freedom of not wearing contacts or glasses anymore is a gift. Thank you!

I have been a patient here for just a few short years and I have had 6 different doctors. The current doctor is awesome. The problem lies with everything else. Their office is the worst. They never pick up their phone so you swirl in a system. I tried to call over 3 weeks, never got through. I needed to have them schedule a second laser surgery. Just recently they had someone quit who messed up all the patients files (so they tell me every time I try to get anything done through them) and that was the reason that no one answered the phone. There is a lot more but I just don't care. I have moved on and found a new eye doctor.

Correct the hours on your website! 2nd time I got there during yr posted hrs , closed, doors locked. I got there 5:35pm-hrs posted-10am to 8pm. Also, when someone is given a number to call w/their discharge papers after surgery in case of emergency-have someone ACTUALLY ANSWER THE PHONE!!! No one called me, I left message BEGGING for someone to call!! I was later told by someone there that she used to have direct access to Dr & staff numbers. Since OCLI took over that ended. It's definitely profit before patients now. There's a LOT more wrong now (& I've been going there 40yrs). Sadly, that will be ending. Re posted hrs: After the 1st time I found the place locked I was told that when there are no Dr's there everyone leaves. You can't call ahead to see if they're open-you only get voicemail. Great way to do business!!

The billing practices and patient communications for this practice are abysmal. Every time I have been, I have been extremely careful to repeatedly confirm the services I am seeking and agreeing to in order to ensure that they are billed appropriately. Almost every time, I am billed for services that either weren't provided, that I explicitly did not agree to, or that I was told were covered by my insurance under a standard visit, but weren't. It is nearly impossible to resolve this situation, since the office is usually unreachable, and promised return calls don't occur. The first time, it took 9 months and over a dozen calls to rectify the situation. I am now experiencing the same thing again. It's hard to believe that these are honest mistakes. I think the business practices of OCLI are sketchy and they intentionally provide terrible customer service. The doctors were fine. No complaints about the actual care. But it is not worth the hassle of having to argue the bill every time and have a system that actively works against you.
